Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Backyard plans are finalized... And quoted. Ugh. 16k for everything. Not really how I wanted to spend my money, but... At least I'll be able to go into the backyard!

Maybe summer time thing at my place once it's done.

Ok. 4runner guys. Whats the norm for wheels. Just saw a set of 16x8 -25. But i was thinking steel wheels 17x9 with a low bs. I like them to poke. Buddy has some used 305/70/17. I know nothing about the 4runners.

My wheeling rigs a heavily tubbed 3rd gen so that won't be any help. My wife's 4th Gen I am forbidden to mod. If I was going to lift it and run 33's I'd do it on the stock 17's with a 255. One thing to be aware of is the larger brake calipers on the 4th Gens. They came factory with a 17" rim for that reason.

I'd ask the 2nd gen taco guys what they run on 33's to clear. Not enough BS will put you into the fenders when you turn. To much BS will put you into the frame when you turn.

What lift are you putting on it?

It has an OME lift. Here's what PO posted

-Old Man Emu (OME) 885 Front Coils +2.75" Lift
-OME 895 Rear Coils +2.75" Lift
-OME-90000-P - Nitrocharger Sport Front Shocks - Firmer Valving
-OME-60004-P - Nitrocharger Sport Rear Shocks.

Ok. 17s it is. This will not be seei g any rocks....well maybe my 2nd home, but thats about it. Doing it for the gram :p. But seriously, this will be the weekend outing vehicle. I dont mind minor rubbing. Maybe one day when i have a truck again I can use that for the harder stuff :bananadead:

If you want a weekend fire road build look into 255's. Those, sliders and light skids will get you where you need to go without adding a shit ton of unsprung weight that suck the fun out of driving it. They won't poke but they also won't rub and throw mud all over the damn thing. If my wife let's me build her rig that's exactly what it will get. With FOX on all 4 corners. That's a ways off though. First we need to buy her a new daily. Most likely a RAV 4. Don't hate. lol

It's all shit I can't do (easily). Pavers, concrete and turf. I'd rather save my, and your, back for dealing with our kids and pay money to the pros!

I helped my brother build his current 4th gen T4R. 3" lift, 35s, and armor. I don't remember what his wheel specs are, but his on 17" rims and 35x11.5 tires and we made it work with just a cab mount chop and minimal cutting.

Lol. No hate brotha! Just SAS the rav4 tho.

I dont like the tall skinnys. For sure getting rid of the stockers too. I want a little more beef and dont mind the mud sling on the sides, but again, this one will see 98% pavement.

Unless my truck is in the shop for half a year :censored:

Thats sweet dude! I can get down to that. What are the specs on the rims? Not sure i want 35s for this, then i have to look i to regearing. I think 33s will suffice for this one

    Probably around 5+

He's got the solo motorsports stock replacement arms that move the lbj forward an inch.

I have KDSS and I'm not so sure I could get 3". Common thinking is 2-2.5" tops before there are issues.

I think I'll stick with the 33"s. The question is when will suspension product be available? Last quote was 40 weeks...

Just keep checking the classifieds. Shocks are easy to rebuild and control arms come up all the time.

yeah, you can thank the solo arms for that. Pushes the wheel forward an inch which doesn’t sound like a lot but it is. Well, I guess it does sound like a lot for this but yeah.
Have alignment delete kit from 333 fabrication and they’re set at neutral too
