    Got some adrenalin this morning.
Standing in shallow rock bar in middle of a river to fish far banks and realized the water was rising around me.

As the ladies might say, an extra 3 inches makes a huge difference. Water eventually topped out about a foot or so deeper this time.

Once i got out to bank, heart was pounding. Waist deep water in a current is a tough walk.

Yeah. Wasn't generating. They are doing work on dam and just let out a little splash for about 30 minutes. Lots of odd schedule stuff at the moment according to locals. Would have been more water and rising faster if generating based on what I've seen in the past there.

Yeah I figured that, but it would need to be registered to leave the state right?

Yeah, I think so. The county clerk office should be able to help you.... Maybe?

You never know.. the Blount County office has been pretty good in my limited experience. But getting a DL, forget it!

Yes. Tag needed to go out of state.
I think they send a trooper out to inspect it for safety and assign a serial number or something like that.

Someone in here got a tag on a homemade trailer a few years ago.

Yep state trooper will come and stamp it make sure it’s up to their liking and give you paperwork to register it. I built one several years ago. Lights and reflective tape on draw bar is about it.

Hey everyone, visiting up in Pigeon Forge for the week and was wondering if there is anything that you would recommend as like a must see or do. I’m up here with my 18’ tacoma (but sadly only one in my group with a truck) so I’d love some spots to get off pavement even just forest service roads to remind me what I’m missing in Florida. Also got 2 pups with me so small hikes would be cool also. Thanks!
