Just discovered this tune (ahem, Kruiser 4.0 that is) this evening and can’t wait to try it out! Sounds like y’all are pretty happy with it! Haven’t driven the truck in two weeks until today since I’ve been in the Camaro celebrating the return of non freezing weather. It’s always a hard transition from an LS1 F-body to a V6 midsize truck, haha.

And what’s this about 7,000 RPM? That’s in the no-no zone for my ol pushrod, ha! That’s the last digit on there. Though that speedo needle has gone past that 155 mark a time or two, that’s also the no-no zone but also the fun-fun zone.

I can vouch for @PapaRee

Flashed Kruiser 4.0 LT and it’s near perfect. I’ll feel more comfortable wheeling with this tip in compared to the previous sports car version lol

On a side note, I’ll be offering Paparee’s performance tune as part of my service. Keep an eye out for this collab!

Flashed kruiser 4.0 last night, minimal driving on it so far but it has ran real well and drives great so far, will give a better review once it settles in and get some miles on it.. kudos to @PapaRee thanks for sharing!

Took kruiser 4.0 from Austin to Waco. One thing I did notice was that while on the highway with 35" tires from 70-80 I had to press the throttle a lot. Felt like 1" depression on peddle before it did anything at all. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Feels perfect 1-70mph though

    That is a heavy truck!
I looked at the throttle map just to make sure there was not a gap. Here it is.

Oh man I'd love to edit this stuff. I understand the ones at the beginning are to make city driving easier but 66.1 to 80 gap is passing speed to me, so is there a special reason it is not more linear? and the 90 degree is kind of wasted right?

I'm new to this ecu stuff lol

Usually, once you get up to speed, your accelerator angle is in the 30-40% range (or less) while cruising. Then, when you give it gas to speed up, you go to 50-75%.
Those numbers are accelerator angles not speed. It tells the ECU how much throttle/gas to give the truck based on those numbers. The stock numbers are much lower.
This is just 6th gear map. There are maps for each gear.

Yeah I was saying that the 80 accelerator angle for for 90 throttle is what I am feeling, if it was something like 76 for 90 throttle that might feel better to me on the highway (passing).

Was I supposed to be able to edit the vft files when I bought the vf tuner? Or just unlock 1 vin for flashing?

Sure can...edit all you want! BEFORE you do save the original file! The Vin is for your own truck not others. Open vftuner like you are going too flash...click the yellow folder open your copied vft/vfc file edit away.

Will do, thanks. I thought something was up haha. Just tired of feeling like a fat guy in a little truck on the highway
