There are a few cool landmarks all in that area. I've been to Carwash Falls but not the others. Need to go back.

Haw Creek Falls is another nice attraction in the area.

Pack Rat and Pam's Grotto falls are right in that stretch too. There's a cool natural bridge just inside Hurricane Creek Wilderness, and that area has a dense black bear population. Pete can attest to that. It's really one of the richest outdoor areas in the state.

I saw a BIG Sow in 2019 on top of Pilot Rock and this yearling in 2020 down the hill a bit. Hard to get good pics....

I've seen fresh tracks and droppings but never the actual bear. I went camping at Mt. Magazine once and the day after we left the campground one was photographed within eyesight of where we camped. I'm actually glad we missed that one. My wife was with me and I would probably never get her back in the woods if we had seen it.

Are any other towns in AR having a gas crisis other than Conway? Kroger was out and closed due to some pipeline that burst. Then everybody started buying gas at other stations and they ran out.

New (yesterday) COVID-19 vaccine update. AR declared IT workers (1c) to be essential personnel for vaccine eligibility. Got to keep the computer systems rolling.

I got my first one and scheduled second one at Baptist in NLR. Was about a 45 min wait and 2-3 min process including paperwork.

For anyone who purchases OEM parts online I recommend avoiding LaGrange Toyota in LaGrange, GA. Have spent the last 2 weeks dealing with some abrasive employees trying to get them to make an order right (damaged in shipping). Finally got it back to them and they charged a 20% restocking fee for a damaged item. I just got off the phone with their online parts sales manager and he was polite and helpful but it's been an ordeal I don't care to repeat.

Alternatively I've had great luck with Royal South Toyota in Bloomington, IN.

I usually buy from McGeorge in VA. They ship FedEx through Memphis so a Little Rock area delivery has a good time. When I buy Land Cruiser or LX470 parts or some internationally used item, I've found Partsouq.com in Dubai to have the best price and fastest delivery providing the part is a small lightweight item and its used on a Land Cruiser or Hilux.

Usually I order parts from Partsouq on Saturday evening before 8:00 PM after a day of working. They will pick up the order and ship on their Sunday. I usually have the part on by backdoor by noon on Tuesday.

The route is usually Dubai, France or Italy, Memphis, Little Rock and out for delivery.

That's really good for international. Most of my dealings with Royal South have been their timing belt/water pump kits. I have also used one of their valve cover kits. Every non-reusable part you need to do the work in one box at a decent price for OEM parts. When I did the timing belt and water pump on my 4Runner I opted not to do the cam seals (VVT-i and didn't want to remove the cams) they let me return them.

Browsing the banned member thread while drinking my morning coffee and BSing with a coworker and noticed that @PinnaclePete 'liked' the post about his own temporary ban.

    Bravo sir. LOL
