Update: today marks a week since the accident. No soreness or aches. I was going at least 5 miles and what witnesses say her at least 50.

Correction. YOU T-BONED someone running a red light. If you GOT T-BONED your side would be smashed it and the other driver would have a smashed front

100% sure this will be totaled out. New cars are amazingly expensive to repair.

    Glad you're ok.

it's amazing what these trucks can go through and you still can walk away from an accident like this and be ok. Hope, since you're posting on TW, all is good for you in getting out safely. Things can be replaced, humans can't!

It's hard to say as the airbags did not deploy. The airbags are the only reason why mine was written off. Glad you are okay but you do not want this truck back.

As an insurance broker I find the excuses quite laughable. I t-boned a lady who blew a stop sign and the first thing she said was "Why were you going so fast?". I was under the speed limit. Even if I was speeding she would still be the one at fault.

Gatesman autobody ~ 1977 we cut the whole roof off a VW bus then, replaced and that was before VW busses became so, crazy high price wise...

We bought a Saab 99 that had been totaled even though it didn't meet the criteria. Apparently the insurance company decided to do that, then move the elderly driver to the assigned risk pool where he couldn't afford the premiums.

Any, we also had one that had been rear ended. We cut the nose off of that and sent everything over to a body shop that was a customer. He put all together and I drove it for a few years until I sold it.

Looks totaled, but anything can be fixed. Not sure how far he'll tow, but could damage the auto trans.

If the frame is damaged it’s totaled. My 2019 was rear ended and barely damaged but since the frame was bent it was totaled. Body shop said a new it was $12,000 just for the new frame.
