Everyone made it out in one piece, 4runner just found a secret swimming pool under 4" of ice

 

Soooooo I got rear-ended on I-95 the other day. First time in a truck. I have to say, I am enjoying my survivability. Note the rear-ender's vehicle, and not the scratched paint and slightly deformed tow receiver on my Taco. I think I survived alright

 

Definitely check your frame! It's possible that it it could be bent down some (also possible not but good to check). Glad you and the Taco are okay!

 

Thanks, me too! I did notice the right rear frame, where it bolts to the rear, appears to have slid somewhere between 1/16" and 1/32". I have an appointment with a shop on Friday morning to have it looked at just in case.

 

Glad your ok. That there is why I prefer driving a truck.

 

What part of 95?

 

NB in Bel Air area. They're doing construction and split it up with one lane and no shpulders on the left and two lanes on the right. I was in the confined lane

 

I definitely like it better. That sadi, I'm definitely looking at getting a steel frame. With how much dealers and shops charge to redo paint and body work this minor, I may just take a check and use it to get a new steel bumper instead of repainting everything.

 

Yea "steel frames" are the best kind, as long as they aren't rusty.
