Looking to buy a front bumper for a 2004 taco

im in colorado, looking to replace my front bumper. stock or aftermarket

Chrome avay too, relatively inexpensive and you will probably need the hardware too.

 

Honestly bro, check Amazon. I ordered a new bumper and grille off amazon for around $200. It fit perfectly and hasn't gave me any problems and they've been on for about a year

If you're going stock, Carparts.com has a nice selection that replaces OEM parts though you have to choose carefully because some items add double the cost.

Ebay has been good to me as well, but buyer beware.

If you went aftermarket, consider budget and use; I went with an ARB on my Tacoma but that's because I wanted armor all around.

 

Nothing bunched; it's the OP's first post and based on his question he's still pretty new.

Easy to mislead someone like him versus someone that's been on this forum (or any) for awhile.

 

Good point-- I'm jealous either way. 1st Gens are hard as hell to find around here

If you have a buddy that can weld decent or know of a shop that can weld a kit for you. Coastal makes a sweet kit-- plus you can customize it based on what you will use it for... I've seen this on a friends 1st gen. Looks great and is pretty cheap compared to a welded custom bumper. Still need to factor in labor etc unless you have really good friends.

Plenty of other options still available for 1st Gen Tacoma's; just a thought in case you went aftermarket.
