Well the tires I want are on sale and yes I really do need wheels to go with it. They're already sunk in and is gonna look goofy as hell when lowered another inch

Oh it's like 15 seconds to flash the map. Then a couple minutes to make the tune adjustment before flashing.

The time consuming part is datalogging. I have a spot I do it in but it's about 20 miles out of town. With how low powered the miata is, I need to make sure all runs are done in the same exact spot on the same day around the same time. because I'm just looking for a few hp difference. So I go, do my 2 baseline runs, flash my new map, and do 2 logs of it.

Well I can't make up my mind on anything. Returned my coilovers and bought a different set that's a little cheaper (saved like $500). They won't ride quite as well but they'll perform better

So now that I saved money I can treat myself to wheels and tires right?

Honestly, no. The new tires will have a larger sidewall as well, so that might help a little

Do they have different models of the Miata? Like The Mustang, GT Mustang, GT350, etc?

They all have the same powertrain and chassis. Just different suspension/brakes/options. Nothing super different between them

So if you plan to mod, buying a "base" model would be the best move?

Well the base/base model has a 5 speed and open diff. The touring + grand touring have a 6 speed. Then you can get the handling package which adds LSD + Bilsteins.

I have the club which has 6 speed + LSD + Bilsteins... but no luxury features. No leather, no fancy stereo, no heated seats, etc.

So the best bet to mod is just grab the cheapest 6 speed car with an LSD you can.

Also, bought some wheels. Since I reordered the coilovers I had points to the site. And the wheels were on sale.

These are lighter than the PF01 and about $80 cheaper per wheel!!

They aren't my all time favorite design but I really dig the color, price, and the don't look bad.
