Well after 2 weeks into starting new job, after being a stay at home dad for 2 years, reminds me how much my body hated me when I was almost 300#. New position is 1 of 6 chefs @ Pursell Farms in Sylacauga. 3600 acre property with Hotel, 3 restaurants, golf course, spa, skeet range, OHV trails, 100s of long horn steer & some *giant* white tail.

210-215# now and in better health, glad to be back in the kitchen.

I've been lurking mostly, except for the choccolocco ride 2 weeks ago, I haven't been out much. Only a handful knew what was going on but I feel there's a lot more here that I'd consider a friend beyond the tacoma life.

Divorce sucks to put it plainly, I've done it once already, so I know the drill! But even tho we never made it "paper official" it's still tough when a child is involved.

In the end - I'm glad I landed a great job with great pay. Even tho my truck is paid for, I've been very tempted to sell these last few months. Living situation is still a problem but I'll find a place eventually. Not much available out in the Sylacauga area.

Depression sucks as well. Reach out to anyone you know, regardless if you consider them a friend or just an acquaintance.

For those of you that spoke to me personally. Thank you.

Almost became your neighbor. My buddy David offered me a position at his restaurant Acre. Very tempted but I bleed crimson. Plus it was a 28k pay decrease over the farms original offer. I got them up 10k from original offer too...lol

Bed cage hell yeah especially if you can attach it to the frame a lot more and better than just the bed bolts. Like the AG shock relocates.

Ummm depends on the spring under. Jd fab has a really good one bolt on that uses longer springs that's getting really good travel both droop and bump. Most spring under concentrate more on bump than droop also the spring looses some ground clearance and could be an issue.

Chevy 63 swap is a lot of work, time, and money and then some to get really good travel #s out of it. The AG relocates and HH for less work and cost. You can really get some travel out of them.
I'm going no longer than 16s and keeping them under the bed. You could run longer ones into a bed cage but unless you do something like the missing link shackles or some custom long shackle attached above the frame you'll never see that travel out of them. You'll also have to give Alcan a call. I'm at that point with mine. I've pretty much exhausted the largest arched Chevy spring there is factory. They are also pretty rough riding without weight. I think Accutune missed a bit on the tune too but that could also be me starting to really get some seat time ans feel into the truck and know what I like and don't.

The Chevy swap didn’t look that bad or expensive especially with the shackle kit a few folks make. I just don’t want to leave anything on the table if I’m going through the effort. If putting them through the bed gets a bit more, why not.

As far as the front, I’ve been looking at all the LT kits and honestly I like the all pro. I can’t shake the fact that I hate the huge track width on these +3.5 kits. I don’t think it’s worth the extra inch for all that poke. The all pro seems to be really tucked in and offer good travel too. I wonder if 37’s play nicely.
