Hi there, I've read recently that toyota has finally announced a 2" factory lift for, I think 2020 and newer model years. I also read that they won't be offering it on a 4 door trd sport model. Can anyone tell me why this might be, I don't understand what would be different for putting it on a sport model as compared to the offroad model. Or am i just misinformed?

DCLBs have the longest DS in Tacoma history. Toyota has learned a lot about lifts and associated issues.
Lines of new Taco owners with vibration complaints may not appeal to service departments and won't help future sales.

Thanks Ted, I read the information from this link. It says that double cab long bed trucks are exempt from the lift. My trd sport has a 6' bed. Since the offroad only has a 5' bed, I just assumed the 6' is what they refer to as the long bed. Am I wrong, I hope so.
