No access cab version for 2nd gen and most all the patterns look like a video game threw up on your truck. Otherwise I’d be interested

May wait until a sale, unless there is a military discount?

    No military unfortunately.

Next sale I’m posting up. Material is definitely expensive. But it’s a good thing to have, especially if you’re worried about pin stripes.

Looks like I'll be waiting for July 4th. Plenty of time to decide on a design/pattern.

I'd love to see if the Explorer Series (compass) has been put on an inferno.

So I love the goat armor, but I have had issues with it bubbling in places and I know it is from the change in temperature, I put the armor on back in Sept-ish and now its 20-30F Colder. I was advised by goat to use a hair dryer to warm up the material but I have not had any luck in removing said bubbles. I have since taken the armor off and have it in the house with the HVAC running to keep it a lil more constant temp but still unsure as to what I can do to get the bubbles/wrinkles out? Anyone have any suggestions or youtube vids to ref?

Are the bubbles in the actual armor or between the armor and the truck?

In the actual armor, I take usually take it off every two weeks to clean both the truck and the armor by hand and then dry by hand as well.

    Just seen this.
Unfortunately you need to take the armor off to clean every week / 2 weeks. As far as the air bubbles. Heat gun takes them out.

I’m assuming the truck is clean before you put it back on? @Wdrell

edit. Just seen your google picture I sent that off to Matt for review. Is that the only picture you have of the problem panel?

I have been trying with a old hair drier as I was worried a heat gun would be too hot. I can give that a shot tomorrow.

Not super close. Get it warmer than you think. And use a flat edge to smooth it.

Yea I have been using the hair dryer until it felt warm to the touch but not hot, then I was sandwiching it between 2 heavy books.

Oh man. That is disconcerting to hear. I was just about to pull the trigger on a set, for my trip up to Bald Eagle (right near you, maybe?) because I’m concerned about pinstriping my new ‘21 on the trails there.

It would be a 2-3 hour mostly-highway ride for me, and I’d have to apply it at home when the truck is clean, so I need to have confidence this stuff will stay put.

By chance do you have ceramic coating? I have that and that was a concern of mine, as to whether it makes it too slick for the magnets to stick?
