I saw a new Power Wagon this weekend in Bel Air at a light near Jones. I thought it might be you. I guess not huh? I don't know if it was the Granite or the Anvil color but as soon as I saw it I thought how it would match your trailer color perfectly.

That's called Broverlanding. They just camp at the Mall. But don't judge. I've camped at a lot of malls and it can get pretty sketchy. Once that food court closes you basically loose access to the bathrooms. Hope you can hold it.

    Morning Y'all!

    Mornin' John :hattip:

Mornin' Bill :hattip: (18 degrees on the morning walk)

Where the hell ya been Dan?

Good morning Eric. I use a local place in Forest Hill. Nick (the owner) is a real pro, and a great guy. He's more your age than mine and so are all the workers. They sell a great product and I highly recommend it for any vehicle.

    https://aplusautostyling.com/

They've done every one of my vehicles except my Lexus and I should have had them do that one too. I could have saved a lot of money.

Nice and thanks. I had just gotten a quote from him. With your recommendation I’ll put more consideration into going there.

We’re looking into a week trip to OC or the Outer Banks and since we’ll be taking the truck I told my wife we should really have the windows tinted first. As a red head, she can burn from the drive down there so the tint will help.:bananadead:
She said I should spend the money and have a professional do it and not try it myself...

I recommend the Prime XR (mid range) and just the two front windows and a windshield strip. It's the best bang for your buck and won't break the bank. I went with an 8" strip on the windshield which is lower than allowed but he will do it if you want. It makes a big difference, plus I have a very large windshield decal that makes it less noticeable.

Good to know. I was debating between getting the rear doors and back window since they don’t help with keeping heat or UV/IR out. I’m definitely going to get a windshield strip but I’ll probably keep it at the legal limit.

Yea, I get that but there is another side to the coin. It's a aspect I don't worry about but some people will say that the darker the windows are, the more they attract the sun and sun = heat.

Luckily UVB rays can't penetrate any kind of glass but factory tint doesn't stop UVA. So I see the pure UVA blocking benefit but what I don't like is a mismatched look. If you do the backs are you going with clear, or are you going to match the fronts with the now tinted backs? If you do the latter, you will definitely be over the legal limit. I highly doubt you will ever get pulled over for no other reason than tint though, so I say go for it. I can tell you this too. At night, the lesser expensive tints are definitely darker to look out of. In the rain, that effect gets worse. With your higher end tints, it's not as bad but still a thing. I definitely see more vehicles with the windshield completely tinted than I use to. At A Plus they can show you what it looks like because they all do it to their own vehicles.

Thats a great answer. I was thinking of 70% or so on the rears and don’t think that was going to change the quote. I’m pretty sure we can have darker than 35% on those and the back.
Right now mine are mismatched lol. A little difference won’t be too bad.

I also have Prime XR. I got 35% up front and 25% in the rear (total of 6-7%) from TintMD in Annapolis. I liked their work and would recommend them. Think I paid about $390-410 (i forgot the exact number) for the 4 windows and the rear windshield, but I think Annapolis is a ways away from you though. They do offer military discounts

I was talking to my coworker's husband who's a cop in Montgomery County. He confirmed that the rears for a pick up truck can be below 35% and the legal limit for the front is 35%. You can go slightly darker up front if you want (i.e. 20%) because cops generally won't pull you over unless it's blatantly obvious (i.e. 5% in the front).
