I hope everyone had a great weekend! First ive been able to pop on today! Picked up a Prinsu rack off one of our awesome TW members this weekend and ordered a new wind deflector with a larger opening for a light bar. Also ordered the quick release awning mounts and a 42" diode bar this weekend! I cant wait until these goodies come in the mail!

just called tintMD and got quoted $310 for the full truck with the XR thats a great price compared to most places ive called as of late.

Anyone have any insight on the XR vs Llumar CTX?

I rode in my buddies lifted Rubicon trail riding up on the mountain at night and you couldn't see anything with his window tint. I wanted to tint my 2 front windows on my 4runner to match the rest but I do too much night driving on those dark switchback roads.

Anyone know what the hell is going on with Mobtown? They have nothing in stock (kinda expected), no product lead times (weird), and no notes or anything on their site about what's going on....are they going out of business or something?

I saw their company policy notice for 2021...doesn't offer many clues as to when they will actually sell products again....I'd think that would be something a business would want to communicate

I think they're trying to catch up on orders, and not do any backordering in the future to reduce lead times. I read it somewhere on their site that their making this change for 2021

Military Discount eh??? I like discounts lol. Annapolis is a bit further than I’d like to drive. Thanks for the recommendation though. The places I’ve reached out to offer Solorguard HP or Xpel CS for “basic” and Xpel XR Ceramic or Suntek for carbon or Ceramic. None of those seem like bad choices.

That seems like a really great price, here is around 400 for the 4 doors, rear window and windshield strip. I’ve been looking at reviews but everyone has their own opinion.

Yea, not looking to get too dark, I still want to be able to see lol. How dark was the tint?

I think he's going to be making stuff in batches and stocking product now instead of making to order. To avoid long lead times. I think you'll just have to keep checking the site until they have what you want in stock

When I had my truck done the guy said the back windows were 25% so he put 20% on the fronts which I'm happy with. I've had either 20% or 30% on all my vehicles for the last 20 years and have never been hassled over it.

I have 20% SunTek ceramic on my truck and it’s been holding up great for the past 3 years. Never cheap out on tint, ceramic is the way to go!

So what are you going to do with the wind deflector that came with it? Looking to fabricate something to create a wind deflector for my Go Fast Camper.

That looks great! I know I’m not gonna go cheapest but was not sure between carbon and ceramic. Maybe I’ll have to go that route anyway, but once cry once... that’s one reason I’m going to do the legal limit. My luck I’d have to get it fixed...
