Hit me up when you're ready. It usually takes me a week or two lead time to get everything together, and then a day to fit/install on your truck, exact timing depends on my work and camping schedule.

I recommend self etching primer and paint, because that's what you'll be patching up the scrapes and scratches with after you find some rocks or trees.

I will definitely hit you up! I am very interested! I thought painting was the way to go for the same reason you mentioned.

We have a table saw at work for the wood mechanics (carpenters) that if u touch the blade by accident it immediately stops so u don't loose that finger. Pretty slick. But it does ruin the blade cartridge assembly but well worth it.

Turning out to be a beautiful day here in my neck of the mountains. Bought a roll of red/black pinstripe a while back to match the TRD decal on the back. Finally got a nice day to do it. It's a little out dated to do pinstripe anymore, but eh I'm stuck in the 90's anyway.

Also got a set of Tufskinz mudflaps and a Weathertech bug shield on the way. I'll start calling it my old man truck :D

I have been seriously thinking of dropping FB for a few months now. I have a personal page and a page for the commission work I do. I really don't use the personal page much anymore.

I found out my Prerunner was pre-wired for fogs as well. I went with after-market Cali-Raised fogs & an OEM switch and I am very happy with them. They were plug & play.

Yeah sawstop. These are non destructive stops. They use brake pads in combination with dropping tension out of the blade. Basically just push reset and go if you trip it. I've seen rubber gloves inflated with air slammed into the blades while running and they don't get a hole in them. They're also like 30k a piece, which is still cheaper than an amputation.

My high school got one of those back in 2006ish. Everybody in class pitched in for the cost of the new assembly so we could see it work. Pretty cool to see it work on a hotdog, probably cooler to see it work on your own finger lol

Just curious, which ones did you go with? I'm looking to replace my Dakars (converted Med to HD), and trying to make sense of it all. As mentioned, I converted my Medium duty Dakars to HD when installed bumper/swing out combo, and with approx 6200 lbs gv (~3100 rear) I'm just not sure which option would be right.

I have the stage 2 U402 leaf packs. Handles my cap, on board air with 5 gallon tank, drawer system, tools loaded in the drawers and on top of the drawers, and other things. Rides like stock, maybe a tad softer. I like them

Anybody have recommendations for a good detailing shop to do paint correction near south east PA. I live in broomall, but willing to drive for a good shop. Have a few pinstripes from offroading I'd like to get fixed.

One of the TW folks that I'm friends with on FB got hacked this past weekend - whoever it was they tried FB Messenger to get to me for a scam. It was not obvious to me at first with how they approach you. people suck

That looks similar to the magnetic sign material my Dad used to have on his work truck. Nice because it was removeable but long term it could cause paint damage.
I see it being able to protect the finish kind of but that seems like too much work to put on & take off.
Then again I DGAF about pinstripes. My whole truck is a pinstripe. :anonymous:

Yup. Initially I was cringing about them. You have a lot more fun wheeling after you stop caring about that. :D

Usually the only thing I say when I'm out doing something stupid is "Damnit, now I'm going to need another alignment.."

I do that just by driving on the roads here. Went to Chambersburg last Sunday and hit a massive pothole in a construction area. My steering wheel is now slightly off-center. Gonna have to pony up for an alignment during my first 5K service :annoyed:

Sorry to hear all the headaches you are having. I stopped using Facebook years ago for similar reasons (back before they had all these privacy settings). The way I look at it, if you are someone I want to talk to, then we already have each other’s phone number. I just don’t see a need for Facebook in my life. I actually do have a Facebook account, but it has zero friends and is used strictly for my Virtual Reality headset account.
Good luck and I hope everything gets straightened out.
