The reason I asked as I was just over there 2 twos ago and they had these in stock. I just checked the site and they still have this stuff in stock

@beorn the fat if you go pulling the trigger on some skids let me know before you do. Im thinking about going with aluminum instead of steel, but i have not made my mind up yet. I have a FRONT SKID PLATE and TRANSFER CASE SKID both are new and never installed.

 

Think long and hard about those Aluminum Skid plates. My original skids were Mobtown Offroad Aluminum skids and I really beat them up at Rausch and AOAA. If you are planning on off-roading on the East Coast I would recommend you go straight to steel skids.

Yeah that’s what everybody keeps telling me. The weight the weight the weight!! And more weight by the time I add sliders! I don’t really have plans of doing anything crazy like climbing or anything like that.

 

Never say never. haha Even the green trails at both AOAA and Rausch will damage aluminum.

 

They switched up their business practice. If it’s in stock on the website, it’s in stock and ready to ship. They’re no longer letting people back order things. They made an announcement on their Facebook page.

I am going to take pictures tomorrow but I figured I would give ya'll the first shot at some used suspension components I am selling to locals.

-OME 886 Coilovers on Bilstein 5100's (Coilovers have 17,000 miles on them. Shocks have approx. 51,000 miles)
-Dakar Medium Duty Leaf packs w/U-Bolts (Leafs have 17,000 miles on them)

To be honest. The shocks are probably close to end-of-life. But, hey, the springs are just getting broken in. PM me if interested.

@RedDeadTaco Greenridge is a joke for off-roading yes, but still nice to camp which is ultimately the end goal for me, the off-roading just comes along second nature lol.

@jwizzmasterwet thanks for the invite but my truck is 100% back to stock awaiting trade in.

@EatSleepTacos at this point you might as well just give it away.

 

Legally, you can have 50% but you could get away with black spray paint.

I wanted to go darker on the fronts than the rears because the light that comes in the windshield makes the fronts look light at times. But I am a chicken and drive the truck like a nut sometimes.

So you have steel ones to get rid of?

I need an aluminum front still.... looking to trade someone my steel front for an alumium front IFS skid.

 

You can legally have 20% in the state of Maryland. Nothing on the windshield except a brow but I always do the whole windshield anyways...the sun is too bright.

I feel like you’re legally obligated to buy the fridge at this point since I sold most of your truck stuff for you.

 

I tell ya what. I can help you out. I'll even-up trade you fridges. Then you can sell my old fridge for less money than you are trying to sell yours. You will likely get more interested buyers at the lower cost.
