    There's about $60 in fabric there
    Sending it out to someone to do long arm quilting will set me back another $75 at least
    Long arm machines are huge and cost $10k to $15k so I don't have one
    Plus about 12 hours in labor....
    o_O $100 ain't gonna cut it. Might ask for triple that.
    But I'm glad you like it so much.

    Same. Our Church has a knitting club that knits prayer shaws. Finished shaws are placed in the sanctuary on a normal Sunday service and blessed with healing prayers. Then given to who needs them. We actually got one for Baby Addie for when she comes home hopefully soon.

    Our church was a huge social group. Most every guy was a WW2 vet, everybody smoked, drank, cussed. That generation lived large, the Great Depression, WW2, they seen it all.
