Purchased first handgun in the state of MA. Canik TP9SF Elite. Solid all around. Trigger out from the box is very nice.

 

Ive heard they are quality pistols

 

The quality is very nice all around. Ive first heard about the TP9 line via the youtube research rabbit hole lol. After days of convincing myself with research, it was time to pull the trigger on it haha

So I had back ordered from Sportsman’s Guide last July... just got a text saying my credit card was finally charged ($370.49). So. Freakin. Happy.

At least they didn't cancel the order and list the new stuff at current price like Cheaper than dirt did to me.....

 

Man that really sucks. They did send me more than one email where I had to click “confirm” that I still wanted the order. I’m guessing that was to try and get out of honoring it at that price, had I not been paying attention...

 

Not exactly a new purchase, bought it last September... but tax stamp just came back the other day from the ATF and I was able to pick it up. Spikes Tactical Buckwheat suppressor!

 

Agree on all. When times are normal, this blaster goes for around $400. Bought mine at my favorite shop at $477 with tax. I was willing to pay the premium as I had no home defense handgun before the purchase.

My next firearm will definitely be when times are better.

as far as ammo, it’s embarrassing how much I paid for 50ct Federal HydraShocks but once again. I had zero ammo. I’ll be content with 50rds until better times come

 

I think the SFX is more known for straight out of box to competition Gun. It’s the suped up version

 

They do. It’s called the TP9SF Elite-S (S for safety). It’s not a traditional thumb safety but it’s a safety on the trigger guard. Search a video on it

 

Sportsmans canceled a 9mm backorder on me. Said discontinued... never checked to see if they re offered it at higher price. Reminds me I need to cancel that membership.
