Yeah a vinyl wrap. The hood was wrapped as well but was showing more wear and tear so I peeled it off.

Well it looks great. I like the color as well as the flat finish. It would be nice if there was somebody around here that did that kind of work. The wrap on my truck is crap.

Hey you have a bad azz truck and you do great work...

    Stagger your electrical connections
    20210308_213747.jpg
    and use
    Screenshot_20210308-212252_Gallery.jpg
and the wires will be totally sealed in any environment and it'll totally hide all of those connections
    20210308_214018.jpg
you can see the glue at the end of it
    20210308_214031.jpg
and it'll last for freakin ever.

But I gotta apologize because I'm actually out of adhesive heat shrink otherwise I'd have covered all of them and I gotta apologize for my connections looking like crap but I'm having a hard time twisting wires right now lmao

I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN THERE LOL

I went for white to minimize radiant heat absorption (from the sun) in the summertime. The wrap's only other function is to protect the neglected paint under a roof rack; I'll be way too lazy to take the rack off twice a year to wash and wax the roof.

No writeup yet, but the idea behind it is fairly simple. Solder together a y-harness (1 wire to 2 wires) until you have enough connections for all your lights. Not a refined approach, but it seems to work well.

    *EDIT*
@TheBlueBeast15, here’s a picture of the wiring harness on its own. I used the pigtail connectors included with the KC Cyclones, the plug and wiring cut off the previously-installed cheapo Amazon third brake light, and a good bit of heat shrink.

Thanks! The grille was the first mod I did back in 14’. It’s actually an insert, so I had to remove the OEM grille from the frame for this one to be installed properly. I’ve painted it with plastidip, tough guard paint, etc before and it doesn’t look the same as when it’s just chrome.

Yup, I do the same. It's on for a a bit, then gone for a bit. Nice thing about a soft top...takes a few minutes but it's simple to convert.
