A little of this and a little of that.
    Very nice Weesa!

M-I-L is a quilt maker. She’s made many quilts over the years and has an 11’ long arm for the stitching process. I’ll show her the pictures of your quilt.

Yes I am, but I didn't make the poll.

Some international woman-sandwich making-quilter with mod rights did it.

    I'll wait

We have a few quilt shows and craft fairs here. I've been stocking up with a plan to sign up for a couple and clear out my inventory. If not I'll go online and try to peddle them there.

I also try to work out patterns that go together pretty easy but look more complex than they are.

    thanks Andy

    really??!? o_O

    so... you're a "no"?

I'd love to get a long arm one day but that won't happen until I have more space. Its tough to do, I've tried. Much respect for some of the work that I see other folks doing. I follow a couple accounts on IG and the stuff they post just blows me away. They can do a quilt in a day or two...I'd need a month to do what they do on the long arms.

Uh, no I don’t, or didn’t. But I checked with my wife and explained why I was asking for pictures of quilts. I told my wife that it was for TW 50 + thread, but I still got the look. Now I definitely can’t buy Andy’s pillows...

Anyway, my M-I-L has always been involved with sewing and knitting throughout her life. There’s nothing she can’t do with a needle and thread.

    already got snacks
and yes, I know. I just giggle and move on. again, just can't explain

any quilt i start lives on the floor until its done. i started putting the plain white stuff underneath so i can roll up and move aside to make things easier but since i quilt on the dining table and my living room floor is the largest open space i have there is no choice but to lay them down there for the duration.
couple years ago i was working on my queen sized quilt...for MONTHS...i had all the furniture pushed to the sides and still had to step over everything until it was done and i woulc pick it all up

Good morning. Today looks like it’ll be a fun day - a coworker (junior level engineer) dropped a bomb on a project tied to mine right at the end of the day. One of those push send and shut downs...

Andy, the cockpit on S/V Mistress could use a few throw pillows. But... I don’t think Neptune has a sense of humor.

Seriously @MTgirl Damn that is very nice.

And good morning TW. Rented a chain saw from the big orange hw store. Little 16" makita tore up a 10" and 20" oak with zero problems and the chain stayed on the entire time. I was amazed. BUT they did give me a bit of a run around on the 20" ryobi I returned. "Oh this is normal...all new chain saws kick off new chains." Yep whatever I'll take money back thank you very much. :D
