The folks who did the landscaping after our garage was built had a 12" Milwaukee cordless electric saw. It was impressive. Battery and motor tech have come a long way in hand tools. That said, I'm not a Kobalt fan. Treat it gently and it should be okay, but the Kobalt stuff I've worked with has not been what I call rugged.

Mark, sorry to hear about your FB problems. I'd reach out to FB and see about establishing another persona on there. I think the place is a cesspool, but I keep an account because so many family members post there.

Thanks for the advice Dave. My lawnmower has held up nicely 2 Summers so far. I only use it 6-8 times a season. This little saw will be part of Stitch's kit going out to cabin for keeping trail clear of little stuff that falls or grows out into trail. Very light occasional work. Actual work tree cutting and trimming done with Stihl "real" chainsaws burning dead dinosaurs. More of a convenience item than an all day/all weekend worker. Kobalt is like Craftsman to me; it works light use, but would not last under daily into weekly into yearly use. If I was making my living with 'em, I wouldn't even look at 'em. Fair enough?

Sorry you had to deal with that Mark. Too many DB's out there that do nothing but try and cause trouble.

Good morning everyone! I actually have someplace to be this morning - two announcements to attend: one for my old college and another related to a new veterans service center here in our area. I guess I need to find some pants and underwear!

I saw two geese flying close to the house yesterday around 4 and then heard a large flock flying north about 9:30 last night when I took the dogs out for a walk. Spring is on the way!

    Stay safe!

I needed the pants banter this morning. I had to put on mine to cook up breakfast on the outdoor griddle. The neighbors keep complaining that my robe does not stay closed all the time.

    Everyone have a decent Tuesday

My wife went to get her first C19 shot yesterday to the same facility I went to on Saturday. She received the J&J shot, 1 and done for her.

I think she shoved that friggin needle through my arm to the other side.
    Wow.
I do know this is the biggest volume injection I’ve ever had.
Felt like a golf ball was growing lol.
Arm is real sore right now.
Going to check my temp before I go into work.
If I ever get a temp I’ll stay home for a day. If I go in and get tested and have a temp
    I’m gone for 14 days.
Texted HR about that scenario and got no reply.
So I’ll be my own advocate..

Good Morning Folks. Exciting morning for me today...it's haircut day...woohoo. Deb and I got our second Pfizer shot on Sunday morning and the only side affects I had so far is soreness where i got stabbed. Deb was fine until yesterday around noon and the mild fever and joint pain started. She took tylenol and that seemed to help. Hope it only lasts around a day like they say. We start our trip home on Saturday with stops in St. Augustines to visit friends down for a couple of weeks, then the Grand daughter in Camp Lejeune, then possibly a stop in Williamsburg Virginia then home.
Have a safe day folks and as always be careful.

Same reaction and timing my DIL's (youngest son wife) Godmother had. When it set in it lasted 22 hrs. This was first hand told to me by her. Hope she recovers quickly to enjoy the trip home.

Thanks Rob, must be easing up because she is still sleeping . It's amazing how it affects everyone differently. Hope you have a great day and be safe.

Good Morning Porchies and HAPPY BIRTHDAY @MQQSE !

Pre-Op Covid and some Lowe's errand today while I'm near there. Hoping that the heart thing goes better than the Dentist yesterday... apparently, there was a small piece of the crown adhesive that got between the crown and my gum, and he spent 30 minutes after the crown go on poking, picking, and flushing before he got it. Headache lasted all day (crown doesn't normally need anesthetic). Didn't do one useful thing all afternoon.

Thank YOU sir! You could NOT have told me a year and six months ago that there are "simple, outpatient" heart procedures! Literally, put a local on my arm, stick in stuff and go look! Dang!
