Where do you see this breakdown in your account? How would one sell a more expensive share? I have 495 CTXR at $1.91

 

"Sell Specific Shares" or your "Tax Lots"

If you're using RH i'm not sure that you can do that.

 

I can through Fidelity. How i got out of AMC. Sold my $5.85 shares with my $13 Shares to break even on it and kept the $8 shares.

 

You can only do it during Market time though. Not pre market.

 

I'll select whatever tax lot. I want to sell. Usually I buy low and keep more shares than I want then pray it goes up to at least the average to cut ties with it if I buy in higher than I'd like.






Such as this. Bought in when CTXR was booming that day with FOMO. Then when it hit 1.60 I was like heck I'm going to average down twice with 2, 75 buys and cut ties with the $2.60 one when it gets back to around $2

 

Yeah that's usually my goal and what i did with AMC well which got me out of 25 $13 shares side trading. However when i bought the CTXR 100 shares it was booming for like 3 days in a roll so i was like heck its going to stay over $2.50 at this rate so i bought in with 100 shares.
AMC i only had like 25 Shares at $13 from back in Jan, but i bought like 50 shares at $5.85

 

I'd be leaving any broker with that sort of restriction.

Others lets you choose which shares you sell.

 

Fidelity allows specifying shares in premarket, or at least they didn't complain when I mocked up an order and previewed it.

 

On my actions i can buy/sell pre market, not "Sell specific" So i'm not sure how to do it premarket. Even when i put in my Quantity of shares it just stays at the quantity and won't let me select any specific.

 

My only question I can’t find an answer to is when? They keep borrowing shares etc. When will they be too fucked beyond anything recoverable and have to pay our price? I’ve been reading everything too and I’ve yet to find a good answer on that. Failure to deliver doesn’t seem to apply to them anymore. Also- seems as though it would need to be coordinated between shareholders aka Apes so that everyone’s asking for a ridiculous price per share and people aren’t lowballing to get their share sold.

 

Interesting that right now the pre-market BOTTOM on $GME is right about $210...Which was yesterday's HIGH!

 

I was on the mobile app, but still on desktop i can't get it to come up. Even in preview order. I only get that little drop box that pops up on the left side to sell when i select "Sell" under my "Activity" tab?

Now when the market is open, i get that same exact sell tab that pops up when i select "Sell Specific" as you just posted.
