they've been listed out of stock for months because he’s still designing/manufacturing them. There have been a few teaser pics on the dome/map threads but the new dual colors haven’t been released yet.

Edit: just realized you posted the link to the dome light. The dual color has been released for those for awhile now. They’re dope, I got one when they first came out. I thought you were talking about the dual color maps which we’re still waiting for. My white maps are blindingly bright so now I really want the dual color when they come out. Kinda wish I had just bought red maps.

New dual domes came out last October. He blew out a few thousand of them in a matter of hours/days. Maps, to my knowledge, still haven't rolled out.

I've actually decided I like leaving the old maps, with the dual dome. Love the red dome for everyday. The white dome is uber bright, so when you have that "where the f#&* is it" moment, that kind of visibility is on tap. But for 'a little bit of light', the much dimmer map actually works well. Leaves you with three levels.

yes new red, white, and dual domes and red or white maps came out last October. I bought a set as mentioned above.

the DUAL COLOR maps have yet to be released. MESO has posted a few teaser pics but no timeline on release. I was alittle confused because the posts I quoted before were asking about the maps not domes. Then I reread yours and realized you were talking about domes.

agreed on the dual dome being great. It made me realize how handy red maps could be while driving. I actually kick on my dome set to red whenever I need light while driving at night.

Thanks. Yours looks quite nice. Man, they sure are proud of that one. Expensive.

I wish I had bought the dual color dome light when they came out, I just went with the single color map light, man are they bright. Next round of the domes I am there. If I recall correctly the initial run of dome lights there was an issue with the actual size of the plastic surround, which MESO fixed and took care of those that had purchased.

If I had the space for another vehicle it would totally be a single cab 4x4 like that. I see that its 2wd, maybe it needs tons?

lol, I got tired of waiting for a MESO dome (and I missed the last round), so I said fuck it and just made my own. It's not nearly as pretty as an integrated unit, but it is really useful with a SPDT switch for the high/low. I could go and find a rheostat dimmer, but that's a bunch more work that I'm fine not doing.

I don't think that's a bad look at all. But I also don't get why. What is the point of having a colored dome light?

100% correct. I think he only shipped a handful out before catching it. I remember he sent me an email offering a refund or a 15% discount on the order for waiting... I opted for the discount since I was in no rush.

red preserves night vision so it’s much more usable while driving at night.

I often roll up to my chosen hunting plots in the dead of morning, well before the sun comes up. I turn off my dome and turn on the red light on low intensity to spare my night vision, so when I move into the woods/fields under cover of darkness, I can do it without needing a head lamp to lead the way, or the need to wait several minutes in complete darkness for it to become sharp again.

Yup. I was in on those first 'out of spec' domes. Meso was on it. Stopped shipments, contacted customers, offered a future discount. Perfect lights arrived a couple weeks later. Fit and function are perfect.

I've got a red truck, and the LED whites are brighter, so I did it thinking it'd be fun, and maybe functional, upgrade. Well, the red dome as the standard is awesome. Excellent visibility and just easier on the eyes. I almost never use the white light.

Rear seat delete last night. I didn't know the mounting bolts for the seat brackets and seatbelts go all the way threw the truck. I could see ground when I pulled them out so I had to put them back after I removed everything. I have a alignment after work today and then hopefully I have enough time before Saturday to make a flat platform for back there and also still need to build my PVC solar shower for this trip.

Switched out hazed headlights for OEM Pro upgrade. Love the look and clarity! Also drove out to the property to dig a hole and install a new mailbox (ours is the one on the end).

I used painters tape on the easiest ones. I kind of made my own shapes bcuz I didn’t want to cut over the dials with the exacto blade. You can use clear tape to trace it first n put the stencil over painters tape n cut the shapes out . I used a thin layer of plastic dip bcuz it’s tight around as it is .
