I was more making a “pathetic mountain bikers” joke. I saw this post on FB.

I’m going to Colorado this year for a week and can’t even bring my bike. Fiancé said, “it’s a FAMILY trip” :(

A quiet bike park on a farm in nova friburgo, brazil. I've been driving this ford.. idk what it is. 5 speed manual. There are some crazy dirt roads in the mountains that had me missing my Tacoma. No tacomas here, the people like to off road mitsubishi trucks and volkswagen beetles converted to buggy's.

Yeah bring the tacomas. My gf said she saw a NY license plate here. Likely brought the car here because there are foreigners working the offshore rigs in our city

edit: I think its hard to find trails here. I know the bike trails aren't easy to find. It's a mix of word of mouth, instagram pages, and google maps lol

Yes, but still better than trails in Oklahoma City. Watch out for that water hazard.

So I rode a 17 mach 6 today. 27.5 155 rear travel. Even though the weight of carbon frame was nice I missed my Giant Trance 2 on the climb. I could feel the seat tube angle difference and the extra travel. But on the way down, oh my goodness. Easily 20% faster going down. Although I forgot to ask the friend I'm borrowing from if its a medium or large... I did notice when descending I felt like the bike was much too small because I had to arch my back quite a bit. Maybe If I had a 17 mach 6 I'd need a size xl? Also couldn't find any indicators on the frame if its medium or large. Either way, It was a blast on the way down but I could feel the "enduro" type geo on the climb.

Also: Would anyone want to do some shuttle runs in AZ this weekend? Flag, Prescott, Tucson. I do know it's supposed to be cold with chance of some precipitation up north though which is unfortunate.

Did you ask her what she plans to give up on your Colorado trip since you can’t sneak a ride in? Disclaimer: don’t actually do that:D

sounds like your fiance needs to get her priorities straight? biking always wins.

I mean...if he does, she gets angry and he goes to leave on a bike ride...so...win?

    Love it
Some unsolicited advice that has worked for me in the past; on vacation take your bike ride early in the morning before everyone wakes up. Say you'll be back by 9 or something then you can always blame BS traffic or a mechanical when you come back later after your epic ride. She's only mad 50% of the transaction

I told her the same thing, some of her cousins are really girly and don’t finish getting ready till 12-1.

We’ve all discussed it though. They’ll get left behind if they pull that crap they did in gatlinburg last year.

I remember the early speculation on bronco 3rd gen forums were that the new bronco was a rebadged Troller

We're good, I was hoping she'd be excited to also take her 5010 with her, but noooo. Family.

Given I'd have to ride the Greens and easier blues with her, but I enjoy all riding tbh.
I just pedal really hard in spurts for a section or feature and then wait.
