I'm going with $GME breaking $500 in the next 2 weeks...and then shit gets crazy...and on the run from $500 to $1000+ a lot of halts and THEN the SEC halts trading for 30 days to allow the indebted time to get their funds together to cover...It won't change anything about the squeeze other than delay it...and perhaps FUD people into selling sub $1K....But again the strong hands..hold through and cash in on the other side.
Everyone is always saying "Somebody is going to lose" yes, if this plays out...That somebody will be anyone who sold a covered call, sold a naked call, or shorted the stock. You're not going to see regular traders losing their shirts...it's going to be institutional money...if this goes the way of ROCKY II....January was Rocky the original...In ROCKY II Rocky wins....

 

Word- so it's essentially relying on the insured money to pay back the price we choose, not Melvin at the end of the day?
That would absolutely take some true coordinating.... I could forsee many people lowballing to ensure their shares are filled (and by lowballing I mean 50k a share lol)

I learned the hard way to diamond hand shares but not options. The second you get greedy with options boom goes the dynamite /not advice personal experience of failures lol

The beauty of it is it's so heavily shorted, even if we get some weenies that pop out at $1k or $10k or whatever, it's still not going to be enough to slow down the murder train. There's probably enough of the float covered just by people like me who are hanging onto an extra 50 or 100 shares just to see what happens when pure unfettered capitalism gets its day in the market for the little guy.

 

Some of us have been waiting since December. You just calm your britches there, mister.

 

I WOULD LOVE to see $GME declare a special dividend...Some innocuous amount...Shorts must pay the cash dividend to whoever they borrowed the shares from....

 

We wont have to, we have been doing 25%-40% daily increases. Everyone who is left in GME is in it for the big win. We will see 500 by friday.

I would like to think that there's a lot of very wealthy and educated people right now that have made their entire living on trying to drive companies out of business...I would like to think they're having a real tough time sleeping.

But who are we kidding. They know they're screwed. The ones at the top have already figured out their exit plans, and they're all rich anyways.

Like to think some people might be humbled and change their world view, but that's a stretch for the people at the top.
