We have a 3 room tent, 37 foot Rv, and a 20 somethin foot travel trailer for camping and such as well as a jeep to go behind the RV

 

then why dont you spend the night?

 

There aint no way Im gonna drive the Rv and the Travel Trailer is 7000+ pounds

buddy, if ya scared, then say ya scared. ha ha im pretty sure the people who are camping are prepared for it. i know i have a couple 3 layer lined military sleepin bags, and if need be i will throw a couple hot hands in the bottom of them. there aint no way im gettin cold..

 

I aint scared. Besides Bears and Panthers and Damn Snakes there aint nothin to be scared of.

 

I have nothing to be honest buddy has a tent that he is bringing with me. Other than that I will be cold

That reminds me, I need to go shoppin' for some new gear. Ex wife has all the camping stuff.

 

i got a few extra military grade bags, i can toss a extra in the truck for ya bud..

 

If this meet was just a few weeks later I could have made it. Waiting to for fin. aid to reimburse me for this semesters classes. Can't even sell my books back because nowadays their all online. Being broke sucks!


Any plans for another off road meet in Spring?

 

Being as i just got out of the military i am going to have to wait and find out when i will be receiving all my stuff from the movers which just so happens to be where all my camping stuff is. Assuming i get it back by the weekend trip i will be adding my name to the list i guess. I will keep you guys posted.

 

I got a 6 ft table, pop up canopy, single and dual burner stove, as well as a few lanterns, an axe, hatchet, etc... I'll be up there early on Friday; I work 4 day work weeks.

Should we bring guns? Fishing poles?

What's the deal with fires? That will be key to staying warm, will there be plenty of wood to gather or should be bring wood with us?

Who's bringing the keg? Anyone got a horse shoe set, how about bache ball?

ok heres the deal with guns:
if you want to bring guns, thats fine, but you will need a hunting license, and wildlife management area stamp. it will be small game season that weekend, which means no centerfire rifles. only shotguns, pistols, and rimfires are allowed. if you have a concealed weapons permit you can carry a weapon for self defense, concealed, on your person, in any state forest, but if we are "hunting"(shooting) you will need a hunting license.
target shooting is illegal. ( pm me )

fires are allowed. there is plenty of firewood to be gathered out there.....i have a chainsaw. if you want to bring wood with you great. thats part of the fun on friday night ride(gathering firewood).

i have ladderball, but you are welcome to bring other games.

 

Will there be any children on this trip? i dont drink on camping trips when there are a bunch of kids around..

 

Lol oh yes the night time wood gathering. I will have my gun.

 

i may bring my son(drew dizzle), but thats up in the air right now.....
not to worry though, he's seen plenty of drunks...
