    Just swap the gaskets and head bolts. I'd go with a mls gasket and arp studs. It's an easy fix.

    Just wanted to give an update on the old girl...

    I used the FIXD tool and got codes p2119, Throttle actuator control throttle body and P2112, Throttle actuator control system (stuck). I took it to a shop to have it diagnosed as well. Same codes. They wanted almost $2000 to replace the throttle body and $400 to change the spark plugs (and knowing how some shops are, they'd probably only change the passenger side ones since the driver side ones are a pain to do). I laughed and politely asked for my keys back.

    I work at a Mercedes dealership so I had the parts guy order me the throttle body and gasket at cost ($530). I've done a sh*t load of research and watched even more videos on how to replace the throttle body. Doesn't seem all that hard. I pulled and cleaned the carb on one of my motorcycles just this weekend...doesn't seem that much harder and less little bits and pieces to misplace! So I'm going to give it a go. I also am going to replace the plugs while I'm under the hood. Wish me luck.

    Once that has been replaced, I will be selling it. I can't post in the forum to sell stuff yet because I don't have enough posts yet so I will post basic info about it here if anyone is interested.

    Thanks again for all of your help guys!

    Man, I forgot to ask after looking at all those YELLOW palm trees on the way to HTX - did yours manage the rest of the week OK ? If you only lost leaf fronds, you could be good!

    The crack of the bat! The sound of the ball in the glove!

    Now you can pay for my mods, as you would say! You going to squeeze those 5 towns in between bus runs?

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I played with rocks today after I got my covid test and blood work, and signed the new Will!
    Hope my other arm looks better tomorrow than what the Nurse left me today - not holding my breath.

    This will all look better once the plants we get are in, and it's all mulched up!
