I'm guessing they put the 60 day wait on because of the crazy Lightning fan who was permabanned a half dozen times but kept coming back to try and troll me lol.

 

So that's why they've gone silent?

I was wondering why we have heard from the crazies. Though the Kings fan enforcerwhatever must be keeping a low profile, I think that's his 3rd user name...

He doesn't have the speed anymore. He and Kapanen are working well together though. And McCain was a nice add... until he got hurt, again.

 

Sure, but he doesn’t seem to try most times. Injuries have plagued us for the last two years. Would be nice to see a season without any major player absences.

 

Kapanen sure has been hot lately.

 

Yup. Looks like he’s going to be good. Did he do anything in Toronto?

 

Actually he had a good year or two I believe.

 

They should have never let him go in the first place. Kessel was good for us I guess.

He’s averaging about .5 points per game so far in his career.

 

You have to give at least one cup to Kessel. Remember the HBK line? In the end, they may have got Kapanen back for his best years. He looks like he was worth the 1st round pick.

 

Enjoy Kappy in the regular season. He'll post a bunch of points in a game or two and then evaporate the first time he's hit in the playoffs.

 

Could be. Let's see what this year brings - if the Pens make it. Another year older, more confidence, different line mates... who knows. Remember, he's only 24.

I mean I really liked him when he played his fast, high skill, game but opponents quickly figure out come playoffs even a single big check will throw him off his game, turning him into a turnover machine. IIRC he has over two dozen turnovers in series deciding games. It was an easy choice to trade him when the cap crunch came.

 

Bonino, Bonino, Bonino!... That was great. I miss that guy's call.

 

He hasn’t shown a tendency to shy away from contact so far.

 

Kap often played with Tavares and Marner. I mean, those are two pretty good linemates lol. Even before that he was paired with Van Reim and Kessel a lot early on whenever Lupul was hurt, which was always lol.

 

Contact, okay. First time he gets lit up trying to breakout though, he disappears. I mean, give him a shot this year, but I wouldn't count on him to be a big performer once games matter and the intensity goes up a notch. He was one of TOs worst players for big game collapses.

 

Malkin is the turnover machine currently for this line.
