Wondering about putting it right above the center vents

 

Engine temp, slushbox temp (think you need a special code to access it), fuel trims and timing or intake air temp.

IAT is kind of useless except it gives you an idea of what the outside temp is, poor mans outside temp reading

 

Fuel trims are good to monitor because if they go whacky out of normal range you'll know you have an issue at hand, rich or lean condition, vacuum leak or bad sensor etc.

 

The right column means almost nothing to me

 

I think I need some 'Scepter' cans. Can't decide between 2 fuel ones or 1 fuel and 1 water.

 

Me too, lol. What did you go with? I want 2 'Scepters' and trying to decide between 2 fuel cans or 1 fuel and 1 water.

 

Bought 2 red gas cans at Tractor Supply. I regret it now. I wish I had bought one water. I may get a 40-gallon fuel tank. Then I won't need a gas can at all.

 

That large capacity tank could be the way to go. I hear you about 1 water and 1 gas. I think I'm gonna go for the 2 fuel can mounts, and then modify one slightly as to make slightly frekin' smaller to fit 1 water can in it, so have 1 each.

 

Your trims look decent at least in that shot, so that's good

Get the oh shit handle mount for it. Also what version UG is it? Some don’t support ATF temp readings.

Spiker Engineering makes a pillar mount. I'd like one because my UG lives in the passenger seat but I don't need it bad enough to justify the $45 after shipping and taxes

 

Want your trims as close to zero as possible. Or at least within -10 to 10. Too high means too lean, too low is too rich

I don’t really wanna spend that on a mount either. I needa try and run that giant ass plug throw the dash somewhere and Velcro the mount somewhere I think.

 

I’ve had nonstop cars coming in the last two weeks, you fix one car and now everyone wants you to fix their car.

Had a Mazda come in today with a decent coolant leak, the upper union was leaking.

At least I got the 300zx calipers rebuilt.
