My drawers already got wet so no more. Main part has been serving as a paint background now. Sigh good while it lasted

lol... well it took me more than a day so I would be pretty upset using them as paint background lmao!
BTW, I pulled them out with my buddy and honestly, I think the whole drawer system empty is prob 200 lbs MAX.
I'd say 180. Very light, was surprised. Small bed.

I think it’s more like 180 or less rounding off but not bad. I’m not too high up in weight tho so not issue

    Hey All,

I have an April/May delivery slot available I am selling. That was the delivery timeframe I was given at any rate. You can DM me on here or reply.

    Thanks!

They updated their policy and any transfer are at the market rate not pre-sold rate but you would get an earlier slot. They detailed all of that in the last email they sent.

You can have any configuration as long as they offer it. And yes you have to pay current pricing.

Yah there will always be someone that wants it sooner than later. Too bad you can’t secure the price but understandable. I’ll keep a look out for any interested parties

Worried about payload capacity of my Tundra:

    Capacity: 1265 lb

    Existing Load
    Humans (4): ~525lb
    Decked: 220lb
    Decked contents:~60+lb

    Incoming
    Super Pacific: ~375lb
    RCI Sliders: ~90lb?
    RCI Skids: ~90lb?

    Subtotal: 1360 lb

    Plus

    Major Gear Items
    Dometic CFX-50: 30lb + food
    Kodiak tent: 78lb!
    Battery box: 70lb
Everything else eg water, food, misc

    Not included
    Future tire upsize
    Other racks/mounts
    Front/rear bumper change outs

I plan on upgrading my rear springs at a bare minimum (likely new suspension front and back), but how concerned should I be about braking and stress on the axles or other components?

Springs will help for sure. Anytime you mod your truck things will be more stressed. You could find a situation where insurance could be iffy if they realize you're over GVWR, but for the most part your truck isn't just going to self destruct.

Ditch the skids and sliders if you aren't doing anything gnar. :)

    none, yet!
Just got the email to pick colors for my X-1! For those tracking, placed my deposit on 12/21 and was originally quoted 7/7 delivery. Installing airbags and bed stiffeners later this month in preperation! Whoo!

That seems like a very conservative number for skids. Obv depends thickness and coverage but thats def on the low end of spectrum.

If anyone in the Seattle area is looking to check out a SP in person, I'm going to try to be at the Overland cars and coffee at @ The Shop on April 17.

depends on which ones. My front skid along I tink is 80lbs. I started a page somewhere that talks about armor weight. But you will be okay it will stress and you will need to beef up the rear springs. at least its a tundra. most of us with build tacos are way over. my last weigh in was 7k lbs. Will be getting a custom pack after i get the X1 and determine what will not go back into the truck.
