Well, deep down I knew fire was not the answer. I wanted it to be the solution but I agree it's not smart. I'm not sure this warrants a full group effort. But with a couple hands and some free bed space it might be quick. Heck, if things got done quick maybe we could even make pew pew noises.

This is on the north east side of Lolo up under the power lines. Absolutely under snow right now. With that north east exposure it might not be much fun trying to get there even in April. I love driving in snow... Driving on the melting remains of spring snow is a recipe for a day of suffering. Also, I imagine those recliners need a couple weeks out of the snow to loose some water weight.

When I make it up there I'll post some pics (and you can tell me to stop being dramatic and just pick it up). I don't think scheduling before the road is passable will work well.

That doesn't sound like it's gonna work right now. I will circle around back again to a clean up later then.

Been too long since we had a meetup. I think it's time to get another one going. Thinking we are gonna have better luck in Tillamook forest this time of year than Mt Hood. I can do the March 27, 28, April 3, or 4th. Any requests for dates that work for you all?

The only weekend that really doesn’t work for me is that March 27th. I think I’m fairly open other than house/Tacoma projects on other weekends.

There might be another meet up being talked about currently that could come in the spring/early summer...

    more details later.

Random question: anyone have a HAM radio study book they would be willing to lend out for a bit?

Don't have a book and have not had a license since I was a kid in the Boy Scouts in the early 90's but I was wondering how many of you have a HAM license? I was considering getting mine as well.

I figure it’s a good tool to have in the shed, so to speak. Sounds like some studying, a $15 test, and decent handheld is all you need to get started. Just like any other thing I’m sure you’d want to upgrade to a better radio as you progress.

    Hey party people!

I’m selling my matte black Pro Comp 89 wheels on FB marketplace but posting here too in case anyone’s interested.

16x8 with 0 offset, only had them on my truck for about 6 months before I was gifted some new wheels. Comes with all 4 center caps.

$375 - local pickup near downtown Bend...buttt I could be persuaded to meet somewhere in the middle if there’s wheeling involved.

You know you want to get rid of that chrome :D

I would jump on those wheels if I could. I love the look.

I OVtuned my truck today and boy do I love it! :burnrubber: :D:D:D

On that note, I am now offering OVtune flash services in the area. Giving the first 5 peeps I flash 10% off as I am still new to it. The tune will come with a ECU TSB update. However I will also do a free TSB update if anyone needs one without the tune, no strings. If anyone is interested DM me :)

Surprised more people aren't excited about setting a date for the next meet up. If there isn't enough interest I will hold off on that.

Got me a TRD front skid today! Also ordered some sliders but those will not be ready for 6 weeks. Sigh....

I am more and more curious about getting tuned. Will have to talk next meet up.
As far as a date, I’m more once a date is picked I have to check what the family has going. Our plans change daily, so I’d feel bad if I committed to a date and then find out I can’t follow through.

With any luck I won't be the only guy there with a tune. There's someone around here who I won't name right now that may be getting it done on their AT, that may or may not join us. They can speak up if they wish :)

I tend to throw out multiple dates to see if any seem better for most people. Doesn't seem to be a strong trend so far. I will just pick one soon and post it up.

Got my OV Tune a few months back and I'm loving it so far. As far as meet ups go, Fridays and Saturdays work best for myself. I'm game for wherever everyone else wants to go play.

Yeah I mean is @TacoTim85 around here anymore? He used to be all about TSF.
I think you might just have to pick a date. Hoping work doesn’t get crazy and I can make it.

I'm here, just busy with lots of things right now. Finals are next week. I'm also trying keep up with the truck build. Leafs arrive tomorrow (finally). Wheels and tires going on Friday. I probably need a little time to work out the kinks before I end up limping home from rub city.
