Recently installed 35's not too long ago, still SLIGHTLY rubbing at full lock while in reverse on the pinch weld. Already have a CMR, and I've already cut and hammered as much as I possibly can. It's not too bad and doesn't affect driving, but will definitely drive me nuts over time.

The one alignment shop I've gone to said the truck maxed out at 3.6/3.7 caster.

I've come across some similar problems but no indefinite answer to that being the max.

Curious to know if anyone has reached 4-4.5 caster with Total Chaos UCAs before I drop another 100-200 on another alignment shop.

What I did was max my rear cams out, so I had max clearance, then used heimed upper control arms to adjust the caster/camber more

    I have total chaos uppers

High caster doesn't mean more clearance... Uca's that add caster reduce clearance at the fire wall.

Fitting 35s depends more on wheel specs. I often have to do some tubbing in the fire wall to clear 35s without any rubbing through the entire suspension travel on customer vehicles.

Ahh that actually makes a lot of sense. Was trying to stick with a wider stance but damn it's been a lot of work. Lol.
Dig the Worms picture btw. Haven't seen that game since I was young.

My camburg UCA's (the greaseable ball joint ones open spherical ball ones are a joke in mud & salt) allowed 4° positive caster & capable of 6° if I wanted

All I can say is these trucks with a 2" or more lift in front ABSOLUTLY need at least 4° positive caster so you can drive them without it driving you

Mine is DCLB TRD OFF ROAD has 2" in front 1" rear 285-70-17 tires on 17 x 9 zero offset wheels 4° pos caster 0° camber & zero toe in..........drives straight down the worst groved road like a Lexus

It drives better than stock ALOT better

Mine are set at 4.6 deg caster. pushed the wheel far enough forward, that it will lightly rub the front bumper at full lock when reversing. No rub on my CMC. Low lift though (2015 trd pro suspension).
