TD doesn’t have a listed price but I put in a limit order of $45 assuming that’s what they’re starting at

As long as it shows the amount in "Cash available to trade" on the balances tab, you're good. You'll get a warning about a good faith violation if you sell those stocks before the cash actually settles.

 

I put $50 just in case of it flies up instantly. May even change to $60

 

If i don't get it, no big deal. I'm just in for the huge buy at the start to run it up and get out.

 

Be careful not to chase too much unless it’s a longer hold. Look at the PLTR, planned open at 7.xx, opened at 10, peaked below 12, closed below 10. However this may have the hype to run more. It’s all a guess

 

I’m on the fence about turning and burning RBLX or holding it for some time. I’m thinking it could be a ~$100 stock, but farther down the road

 

Last IPO I jumped in on was DBX. Wish I'd have sold on the spike, but thought it'd be a better hold. Then decided to dump it when it got back close to where I initially purchased. Glad I dumped it looking at the price history.

 

Turn and burn then buy a solid dip to hold long term.

 

But when is the spike!?!

My buddy had 2 shares of GME that he bought at $129 about a month ago (he's tight as can be on everything)
and i talked him out of selling them when it was down to like $55. It spiked to $176 last week and he freaked and was like "I should've sold then" as it went back down to like $110 that week. Monday morning when it was running he sold at $155 and i messaged him yesterday about his shares when it was at $190ish and he was like i sold i $155. I shook my head and now have been riding him for holding that long to sell at $155 after it's now over $100 more a share a day later lol.

 

Could open on the spike at 60, maybe trade down a little into the mid 50’s, hit 70 at some point, close at 55-65 Also possible none of that happens. Was that helpful?
