SOLD !! ---- Trac-Pro (Ladder Rack) for 2nd Gen Tacoma - Eastern PA area

Hi,

In original post, I referenced the wrong rack in the Amazon.com as being similar. I was wrong. It was a different model. The rack that is similar to one I am trying to sell is going for (brand new) $729.95 at Thule.com.

Nevertheless, I reduced the asking price to $350.00 since I want to get it out of my shed ASAP.

The ladder rack for sale is made by TracRack when I purchased it. I believe the TracRack company has since been sold to Thule. I purchased this brand new in 2008 or 2009 and mounted on my Tacoma for "ONE TIME" to carry the long extension ladder from my buddy's house. Since then it has been dis-mounted and stored in my shed ALL the time.

Why? Because I bought the ARE fiberglass tonneau cover (spell?) that pretty much stayed on my truck all the time. I still have my original 2007 Tacoma truck and the tonneau cover. But now I need to clear my shed for other stuff. The ladder rack is in "pristine" condition since it was only used ONCE. I have all parts for it along with the instruction.

Cash and LOCAL PICK UP only. Let me know if you are interested. Pictures were taken when it was mounted on my Taco in 2008 or 2009.

Still looking to sell this? Any idea if it will work on a third gen? I'm seeing similar brand new products for ~300. Are you flexible on price? What area of Philly?

Hi. Yes the ladder rack is still for sale. Not sure if you are comparing the similar ladder rack. The older rack (one I am selling) is made more sturdier than the new ones manufactured by THULE. If you review the pictures I posted, you can see if they will fit the 3rd Gen or not. I am not sure since I have not seen the 3rd Gen bed rails. But if the "rails" of the 3rd Gen is at the at the same location, I would not doubt that they will fit. As far as the price is concerned. What have you in mind?

Also, I am just outside Philly. Huntingdon Valley, PA which is near Abington, PA. I see your in Phoenix, AZ. I do not want to ship this thing as the cost of shipping would far out weigh the benefit of purchasing this rack.

 

I believe the bed rails are the same. I am in the process of moving from Phoenix to Philadelphia. I close on a house in Doylestown next week and need something to transport a large ladder. I was hoping for ~$200. I think once i get the ladder to the house It’ll end up collecting dust again for 10 years as i have a tonneau cover and don’t plan on keeping this on my truck permanently.

 

Similar ladder-racks with much abuse are selling in the upper $300 ~$400 range in the Tacomaworld. My ladder-rack is in pristine condition. Also, instead of communicating via this thread regarding $$$, please PM me. I am familiar with Doylestown and it is a very nice and beautiful place. I am not too far from Doylestown.
