That’s a good idea. Would be good to get them to build the stacks and make small adjustments after the fact, if needed.

Might wanna find that, since Icon's are the most likely to blow a seal and lose air, from what I've seen!!

The 111's would get you there. Or you can do the 112's, and remove an overload leaf that's in them if you don't like the height or find it too firm, then keep that leaf handy in case you ever add a rear bumper or some other constant rear weight.

DRY MARCH PATTERN CONTINUES: An upper ridge across the region will keep most of Alabama dry through the rest of the week with partly sunny, warm days and fair nights. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s today and tomorrow, and close to 80 degrees Friday afternoon. A few isolated showers are possible over the far northern part of the state Friday afternoon, but even there most places will stay dry.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: While a major storm system develops west of the state with snow for Colorado and Wyoming, and severe storms for the region from southern Kansas through Oklahoma and into North Texas, Alabama’s weather will stay quiet Saturday and Sunday. Expect a mix of sun and clouds both days with highs between 77 and 81 degrees. Showers will remain few and far between.

NEXT WEEK: Showers and storms move into Alabama Monday. For now, the overall severe weather threat looks fairly low with weakening dynamics and marginal instability values, but you always have to watch systems like this in March as they approach. The front will stall out over South Alabama Tuesday, where showers will remain possible. Another system will bring the next round of rain and storms to all of the state Wednesday, possibly into Thursday. Highs will be in the 70s Monday through Wednesday, with upper 60s Thursday and Friday. See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

ON THIS DATE IN 1986: Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes hit Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. A total of 19 tornadoes occurred. Three of the tornadoes in Indiana reached F3 intensity. A densely populated subdivision of Southeast Lexington, Kentucky, was heavily damaged by a tornado. Twenty people were injured, and 900 homes were destroyed or demolished. A very strong thunderstorm downburst hit the Cincinnati area. At the Greater Cincinnati Airport, windows were blown out of the control tower, injuring the six controllers on duty.

Yep, they are. I don’t really want to mess with icon shocks though. If someone really needs something done, I’ll look into it.

Hahaha, nah I can't keep track of what everyone has. Use Tundra springs then, looks heavy as hell!!!

Just kidding, I recommend the 112's so you get the most lift and load support.

112s are way overkill if you don’t have a constant load. Even with a bumper that has a swingout on it.

but pulling the extra load leaf and having it just in case is a nice option

Yeah, but he also wanted 3" of lift, so giving all the options since they'll lift more with less weight on them, and he probably will want to pull a leaf out of them.

Container of leaf springs has been delayed, yet again, now not due until early May.

Can you add the leaf if I need it?

You can either buy the 111's and add a leaf to those, or buy the 112's and take a leaf out. It's cheaper to buy the 112's and remove a leaf and have it handy if you need it.

Dakar’s are at 2.7 now and I want a little more rake. Gonna have to adjust my front coils a little.

you are probably better off buying the 112 pack like mike recommended and just pulling the load leaf until you need it. That will put you around the same load rating / ride of the 111 pack. If I remember correctly, removing one load leaf from the 112 will yield a 4+1 pack and I think might actually ride a little better than the actual 111 pack which is a 4+2 (but don’t quote me on those numbers).

A 112 pack yielded 4.75” of lift on my truck with a steel bumper and swingout hanging off the back and about 100 lbs in the bed.

I agree that getting a 112 and pulling a leaf is probably the best way to go though.
