I suspect it may be a tech limitation - the tire structure may become unstable with such a tall sidewall and narrow tread.

Just get 17" wheels then. The other mods needed to run 35s comfortably/reliably, such as bigger brakes and spindle gussets, are easier with 17" wheels.

I really like mine. They performed well this winter in snow and mud. And they are very quite and ride really nice on the highway.

Most of it’s done. Just need to do a little fender cutting near the cab mounts and adjust the alignment one last time. I have a lot going on right now with work so trying to find the time is tough right now. Hoping to have it all done in the next week. Here are some shots of the chop though. I didn’t paint it the best but I’m happy with how it came out.

Got my Kenda’s mounted. No rub lock-to-lock at stock ride height. I’m very happy. Took an aggressive CMC, pinch weld, some hammering and a little cutting on the lower fender, flares and bumper. Installed SPC UCAs and played with the alignment.

Is anyone running these that’s had the ridge grapplers, I’m coming of a set now and wondering how much of a noise/ wear and traction hit I might take. Looking at the 35 10.50s

None. 6112’s up front at 1/0 and 5160’s in the rear with stock leafs.

How do you like the 6112/5160's? Debating between them and more expensive options.

Edit: my target setup is basically identical to yours height wise. Just want new shocks for ride/dampening not lift.

The 6112’s are awesome for the money. I love them. The 5160’s are dog shit. The compression calving is too soft and likes to bottom out easily. I will be relocating the rear shock mounts and going with 7100’s along with Deavers later this year.
I will eventual lift it some but planning to add more weight first. In the end I hope to keep around stock ride height though.
