It’s not an original idea, I have to give credit to some other forum member who had the idea for quick release seats on his 2nd gen iirc. His instructions are good but I’ll post a new thread with more detailed instructions for both the quick release and the platform. It’ll be a few days so just like this post if you want me to tag you when I get around to it.

The pins I used were these: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbil...N5NK58MfxACx11x1QBcaAmUUEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

I've been eye fucking this bumper for a month. Do you have stock suspension?

I installed my new Teton shift knob. This is a great looking and feeling shifter for the AT and really ties in well with the inferno orange trim I have inside my OR.

Final coats of paint on my sliders. Didn't break any bones this time. I went with hammered metal flat black for the final coat, and finished it off with a mat clear coat. That clear coat really toned the hammered crap down. Now it actually matches the grill on the truck, I dig it. Ill let these sit in the garage for a few days to cure then install.
Ill say this, 150 for powder coating is a deal. I spent way more time on this than I should have, but I also wanted to make sure I did a good job. My time is worth more than the 150 powder coating job. But, I've had power coated sliders before, and touching them up just isn't the same when using rattle can. These will be easy to keep looking good.
And apparently something on my face smelled interesting, Kane smashed his nose on my cheek and kept sniffing.20210310_143457.jpg 20210310_143451.jpg 20210310_142846.jpg 20210310_124513.jpg

I used a hair dryer to heat up the decals or you can just leave it in the sun for an hour, then get a corner started and slowly peel them off. Clean up any left over residue with either goo gone or an adhesive remover. Give the area a quick wash and seal afterwards and you're done! Same method works for the black door vinyls as well and if you are totally debadging, just add some fishing line to the process and shimmy it behind the badges in order to get them to pop off.

Thanks for asking. I'm gimping around in a walking boot. It's ok, but probably a couple weeks in the boot. It's ugly, all black and purple.

Took about 15 minutes. Lots of wire to get back in the little cavity.

One stud lower is where it was designed to go. But hopefully the extra 3" allows you to pick either and maybe if you're fording rivers up to the bed floor you might want it up high? It is sealed so should be waterproof but not sure that means I'd want it submersed for long periods of time :)

    This write up?
Neat idea, might need to do this one too. It was noted that the rings rattle I'd probably also put some other type of pull loop in it's place.
