hey! came across this survey at one point and answered then could have sworn it said it was for 2016 so I left thread and ignored. Just noticed the notification from being tagged. I'm somewhat down to check it out. I live about 10/15 mins from the grapevine lake. What kind of activities can I expect other than truck talk and a few beers? Did someone mention riding mountain bikes in those trails around the lake? I have a bike that I've rode on those trails before, loved it. what's the crowd like? I am a 29 year old dude :beavisd: that doesnt go out very much anymore

    New or used?

There's a group on FB, "Rock Crawler Classifides of TX/OK/AR/CO/NM/KS" that usually has big tires/etc on it.

i thought about going but then saw some of the prices, i hope they put the whole races on YT and not just the highlights so i cant watch. I want to see how the new GasGas models are doing as well some of the shake ups from the Geico Honda and JGR Suzuki teams shutting down.

Most of the FC guys went to HRC, the JGR dudes went to Star Racing and Kawasaki. I won't be able to make Saturday's race, so I'll be going Tuesday night. Called in a favor, so I'll be hanging out under the HRC tent like old times. The Webb/Roczen rivalry is starting to get spicy, so that will be fun to watch. The track looks fun, with a lot of places to pass.

I can definitely ask. They're being weird with the COVID thing, but I'm picking up parts in Torrance and flying them back with me. So that better count for something. :D

Samesies. I've got Scott Summers' old race frame/engine in my garage, minus the unobtainium parts that us lowly suspension techs weren't allowed to have.

I havent been mountain biking since I hit a jump going too slow and hit the front berm with my front tire and flipped over the handlebars, twisted at the last minute as to not land on my head, instead landed on my shoulder and severed some tendons that join my shoulder to my bicep. Good times lol. Driving my manual transmission Jeep home was painful as a mfer.
