It’s funny I install these also on the weekend. I had my son help me and as he is sitting in the front seat giving me a hand, he turned to me and said dad I’m not ever going to change my truck from the factory.
Made me think the same thing as you.

Not sure if I’m missing something or just overthinking but when installing the switch how does the wire diagram look when connecting to the a pillar wiring?

You can buy a bag of those clips on Amazon for like $5 I believe. I bought some bc I kept losing them. Lol

    Edit: $8 now

Ain’t gonna lie; I saw a new comment on this thread and was hoping it was MESO saying “new batch dropped today”. :spending:

A-Pillar harness connection is at the bottom and switch at top left. I also have a DomeRock at the bottom left.

Ok, so without the dome rock I would leave that plug alone and just plug in one clip?

Got my puddle lights working, they were gravy as soon as I connected the negative cable to the battery. I did it over three days lol. First day was tear down and install of the LEDs into the mirror, second day was running wires through the rubber boot at each door, third day was A-pillar and hookup. About three hours total, I work slow..

Aside from the gap issue in the driver-side cover, I am highly impressed. Another Meso success.

What’s up with the gap? I’ve heard a few people mention that. Seems odd; everything I’ve gotten from MESO has been VERY precise in fitment.

I wonder if he’s aware of the issue

Anyone know what color the light is on the switch, is it white or blue?

It’s super bright. Puppypunter and I put it on the dimmed illumination and added a resistor to tone it down. MESO likes bright AF

It's like another puddle light inside the cab!

Dave, one more question, is the light illuminated when the switch is set to off? Thanks for all the info.

I think so, I don’t remember it changing with on/off/auto

Yeah the switch should operate like other switches. No illumination with dash lights off, illumination with dash lights on
