I think the last thing I can do for myself is finally getting it running and driving right like I spent my childhood dreaming of. then I can sell it for taco money

Oh, yea I wouldn't be able to help you that quickly :(

If it's all over the place you're gunna really really hate yourself trying to run a single stage snowblower in anything heavy. It'll work but realistically you won't want to let more than 2" of wet snow accumulate before taking a single stage to it, or you'll be stopping every couple feet to clear out the chute.

2 stages are the bees knees because the auger lifts the snow and an impeller throws it outta the chute. A single stage has to do both those actions with only the main auger

But again 2stage blowers are mucho moneyo compared to the lighter stuff

If I was smart I would have bought one in the offseason during summer and spent the time to fix it. But I smugly told myself there was no need and this year I would tough it out without one yet again! sike

If I called up my buddy with a plow on his SXS ranger I don't doubt he'd let me borrow it for a week or so....but he needs it more than I do

I wish, he lives an hour away. He works 8 days a week so I have a hard time asking for his help to begin with even though he is always willing to make time and never makes me feel bad for asking for said help.

What do you do with a friend like that? he works 14-16hr days every day but is still willing to move work around to help when you ask? and goes above and beyond when doing so???

how?????? how do you accept that help???????? I was taught that you could never expect someone to care enough to make time to help in the first place and to be skeptical if they did :homer:

You cherish a friend like that and try to learn how to lose the skepticism. :notsure:

I know how tough that last part is especially when it's ingrained within you from a young age, but the most valuable lesson I've learned from my brain wrangler is "just because you're used to doing something, doesn't mean it's correct. Regardless of if that something works"
