That's exactly why I now have a 2021 TRD OR DCSB 6MT, rather than a 2021 Pro4X. I had a 2006 Xterra Off Road 6MT that I drove for 15 years and 305,000 miles and would have been a likely repeat customer for a Pro4X if Nissan had retained the manual transmission. Love the Tacoma 6MT.

Still only available with an automatic. I would rather have an electronic t-case with a manual transmission if that was my only choice. I did own a '91 4Runner with manual transmission and manual transfer case which was ideal and which I drove for 272,000 miles, but alas no longer available.

I put redline MT-90 in and that helped smooth out the clunky a lot. That plus the ADM mod and it doesn't feel clunky at all anymore. Except first before it's warmed up.

I had a Black on Cream/Tan (no idea what the non-black color was called) Jetta that was a stick while doing Uber/Lyft. Not only was it far more fun to drive, it was a massive conversations starter; especially with Indians. They would always point it out and be like "wow, I haven't seen a stick since I was back home". The other thing that amused me about that car was the two tone interior made many many people say something like "wow, I'm surprised you would use a BMW for this job" and then I'd tell them it wasn't a BMW, and in fact cost me less than $20k out the door and they would always be shocked.

Sorry I’m not up on all the acronyms, could you help me out with what the ADM mod is? I’ll try swapping to Redline, I used to use that in my Mustang and RX7’s and always had good experience with their products before, makes sense to try on the truck too.

There was another released in April of last year. Even better.

Honestly, just drop ADM in the search. But:

Well let’s just say, I like my manual transmission. AT, and CVT may be the future, as well as electric. I’m just wondering how our antiquated grid is gonna support everyone driving electric vehicles. And what’s with the ev charging stations everywhere? Are they free? Why does the weed store need one? Why do you get to park closer because you are driving and ev and bumming juice off people? In the future are there going to be gas pumps in the front of the target parking lot? If everyone drove a manual transmission then our traffic problems wouldn’t be what they are anyways.

I've always wanted to drive a manual. Bought and learned on my 6MT Tacoma and have been loving every minute of it!

The majority in my area are paid and require an account to use at all. As for being closer to the front, I would assume that is because it's cheaper to run the power to the station when it's closer to the building.
