    No, you’re misunderstanding. When you sell a call you do have the money right away. However that money hasn’t cleared until the next business day. So although you have the money AND can buy with it, you cannot sell what you bought until tomorrow or it’s a free ride violation.

    They were the worst offender during the first $GME surge. Halting and limiting the number of shares they would allow to be purchased. I have accounts with other brokers, WeBull, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, but RH is just too easy to use. I’ll stay but I don’t keep a cash balance so they don’t make money off me. Anytime I have available cash I dump it in crypto until I need it for more stock
