Never mentioned a plastic scraper at all and neither did he. Get the piece and surronding area heated up, use the pry bar to get a side up and pull off or continue to use heat to soften the adhesive. You can then use the heat to help get any adhesive off.

I didn't scrape or use the fishing line metod to get my fenders off. Just dabbing goo gone on areas that the adhesive wouldn't come off clean. Zero scratches for all 4 fenders.

Went and picked up my Toyo open country AT3 285s.

Picked up a new toy. Yamaha MT-03

And Installed my ecoological bumper shells. No more of that out of place chrome.

Tomorrow the Eibach stage 2 coilovers are supposed to be delivered. Then I'll have everything needed for the lift install. Then I'll just need some 17" wheels to "finish" the truck.

huge difference between using a no mar pry bar on the edge of the badge where you don't need to jam it under like a plastic scraper.

Yes if you would ever want it off just press the button and it stays off until you start the truck again. Kinda sweet, wonder how it may affect the warranty?

Yah, little scary for me too. Not sure I'd remove a bedside sticker with one but I've read positive results somewhere on this forum. Maybe for just removing the left over residue. :notsure: I'd need to do a search and ask questions to those who have used one.

I just ran it today. It is auto on. If you want it off, push the button and it turns off. So its just a reverse.

Very easy. Everything pops right off. The difficult part, which isn't difficult at all, was running the add-a-fuse to the box. But that in itself was also easy. I will say this...I was going to move the ECT PWR button to one of the empty slots closer to the center, but it would not fit. I had to leave it in its factory position on the center console.

How do you like the Eibach pro lift? Looks like you still have some factory rake. What do you have the front set one and what did you use in the rear?

I bought one a while back for another truck to remove adhesive that was behind the badges... Used my smaller milwaukee drill, turned it down low, and went at it slowly...

They work, but I felt like at any moment I'd mar/scratch the paint. It just felt aggressive... And left lots of the eraser bits behind as it removed the adhesive. Still had to use goo gone afterwards.

So yes it works... I didn't damage the paint at all... But it didn't feel good LOL. I only did one side with the wheel... Did the other side with a plastic razor and goo gone. Took a little longer, not by much, but felt safer.

Installed the TRD badge that I found from the forums here. Cleaned the inside of both vehicles and washed the truck. Been beautiful the past few days in Iowa. Spring is coming!

Decals, just go slow. Peel back a corner carefully then just pull it off slow. Blow dryer or heat gun works great to soften them up. Patience is a virtue with these sometimes. Both trucks I’ve done this to peeled off nice and easy. Emblems, definitely fishing line. Again, blow dryer or heat gun first. Goo gone to get rid of the remaining adhesive.
