So I bought my truck chirstmas eve of 2007. When I drove it home I was reading the sticker more carefully and noticed that it said I have a passenger fold flat seat. Well fact is I do not. I have two regular sport TRD seats up front. Now I know what the fold flat seat is so my questions is are they worth it enough to bitch to the dealer and get the fold flat or should I just keep the original TRD sport seats I have???????

    A few bolts are different.
Dude you came out on top of the deal, just cope, the other seats are nice but the TRD Sport seats are way more comfortable (IMO)

when you get the trd you get bucket seats, maybe the sticker is from the sr5 package, which includes the fold passenger seat, but when they upgrade to trd they take those off....

    thats my guess

I was about to ask which seat is 'better.' What's the benefit of the 'fold-flat seat?' I don't even know what those are.

If you'd rather have the fold-flat seat, then bitch to get it. If it was on the sticker of the truck you purchased, then it should be yours.

Yea I would assume that as welleordonez.. I have the TRD sport package and an sr5 badge on the back so I assume the fold flat seat is from the sr5 deal.. I was just curious if it really has any good functional value or not and is it worth it

i think bucket seats (trd) are more comfortable.... and also you would end with two different seats in front, not worth it IMO

I can see functional value if you plan to have a picnic in your truck, or need to lay out blueprints, otherwise you have better seats.

I've had my truck for 7 months and have never used the fold flat seat. A guy I work with has the sport seats and I like those better. JMO.

LOL thanks for the feedback guys, I guess the TRD seats are better for passengers and I am too much of a humanitarian.
