    RE: Electric Cars

been thinking about this. Video game physics / programming is good enough I think a 3 pedal / stick shift sim is doable in the future for all electric.

I would have no reservations about all electric as far as driving pleasure is concerned

I was hoping that you were gonna expand on that statement with some civil/urban engineering type knowledge, but I can see now that I was incorrect.

MT owners are an insufferable circle jerk sometimes. This thread is proof of that. One guy even makes mention of his vinyl collection. LMFAO. Embarrassing.

    I'm not touching that one.

There was a poll a while back. The MT / AT split here was about 50/50.

Yeah. We're a bit enthusiastic. I think you would find the same for other limited options on non-automotive forums.

There's some folks with a :rocket: for scissor only haircuts when most don't give a rip if the barber whips out his electric clippers.

Why would civil engineering have anything to do with it? If anything, it would be psychological: MT forces drivers to focus on driving instead of whatever the hell else may distract them. I am 100% more focused driving a manual, and way more easily distracted driving an auto.

Want an engineering argument on driving and safety? The single, most impactful change you can make is removing drivers from the road. Automate everything, remove the human variable, and it'll be safer.

As for everything else you said, welcome to an internet forum, where people voice their opinions.

It’s penis envy. Science has proven that people (men and women) who drive manuals have on average a penis that is 1” longer than automatic drivers.

Well then, I guess I'll have to rethink teaching my lady how to drive stick. I'm not into all that:anonymous:

LMFAO such delicate sensibilities. You’d think a transmission was an identity.

I drive a manual. I just don’t feel that that’s some sort of accomplishment that should be commended or lauded. It’s a transmission.

Clap back at me if you understand what’s going on here;otherwise LMAO at all ya’ll
