Just finished guest lecturing at my alma mater. Apparently people think I'm qualified to educate others. Future generations are doomed

Seriously, no joke about hydration. Never did concrete work, but this is pretty much law working on shot crews in quarries. After being underground for the past few years, I don't acclimate in the summer anymore

 

Sounds like my time in the military. Its sunny outside? Drink water. You sprained your ankle? Drink water. You've had enough water? Too bad, drink water.

This was a great setup and no one dropped a zinger. Disappointed in the KC crew.

Was a little busy defusing issues the last couple hours.
Love when hardware quits working in the middle of the day.

The problem is that the hole is such an awful place that I can't make jokes about it. Just warnings...

 

I already know about hydration. Gonna be a fun summer...

Indeed you will. Be patient with the hazing stuff too. It seemed to be bad on most of the wall crews, not so much on the flatwork crews. Just don't let anybody tell you to go down into the hole under the front porch to knock tabs off. They'll leave you down there forever and that's where they all piss... ask me how I know.

I didn't get pissed on, but was told that's where they pissed. You only fall for that shit once, then everybody except the guy that helped me get out was on my "I don't trust anything you say" list.

Just drive a tanker truck full of water and take your lunch breaks inside the tank
