Just out of curiosity, why the Portland metro area? Having lived all over Wa and Or, Portland is one of my least favorite places...

I want access to the Columbia for fishing, and the WA side has no state income tax. PDX airport is one of my favorite airports in the country (I fly a lot) and you can get almost anywhere in the world with a hop out of there.

Was also considering Bellingham on the sound, but Vancouver is quite a bit cheaper. I grew up in the Seattle area, and I know for sure I'm definitely not going anywhere in the Everett to Tacoma area.

Portland also has some fantastic medical systems, and homegirl needs PT and upkeep from a car wreck years ago.

 

Plaid shirts and suspenders brah. If I could grow a beard, I'd look like a proper lumberjack at the downtown donut shops.

I'm gonna be upset when the GME excitement is over and it's back to the same ole stock market and not stonks. Think I'll just keep my most expensive GME share for old time sake and frame it on my wall/mansion.

 

Browsing around at homes in the $1m - $3m range has made me realize there are way too damn many people with too much money. And I should like to join them.
