That's a horrible idea. What time?
I have never owned a dashcam. Until I bought this truck. Now I have front and rear.

Same here, I now have 3 of them (been testing different cameras)

The one place I wish some of these dash cams got is the sides of the truck. Im going to see if I can find a 4 way dash cam this week.

I really like the new rexing s1 pro. Does front rear and cabin.

I have the Rexing system now. Generally like it, minus the app. I will probably move it to the wife's car and get a new one for the truck when the new bed rack comes in. With a 12" rack height, the rear camera is going to be pretty useless. I may look and see what's out there for a license plate application, but I think most of those are just reverse cameras.

Yeah, the app sucks, constantly crashes or disconnects.

I have two rexing v3s (front and inside) and a rexing v1lg. I swapping the v1lg out when I got my topper because I couldnt see out the back with the camera, so I wanted to use a interior camera. But now seeing they have one that does front, rear and inside I may swap again and sell off my other ones (or put them in my other cars)

The interior isn't something I'd be interested in unless it were somehow tied into a security system or alerted like a "glass break" sensor does. As I add more stuff to the truck, that may change, especially not having a tonneau when the new rack comes in.

The rexing s1 (and s3) have shock sensors. So the cameras turn on when the doors are opened or the truck is bumped.

Speaking of the Inferno color changing, I’ve been going out with a friend who shoots overland videos and his Sony camera sucks at reds. So the Inferno turns into this faded awful tangerine color on our videos. It’s so weird. Either that or his color settings are jacked up.

Took my truck to get detailed today (for the 2nd time) this time to a certified detailer (she's a p&s rep/ambassador).
Anyways the whole reason I had to get it done a 2nd time is because I didn't feel like the first guy did any good, at all.

Well, I pick it up tonight and she tells me she's never seen anything like it. She was trying all her compounds, doing test spots ect. and couldn't get it corrected. She pointed out to me that my door jambs are almost flat, like there is no clear on them.

I'm curious if anyone else has seen this on their Inferno?

What is "it" in this scenario? No clear coat?

Good question. She didn't explicitly say my truck didn't have a clear coat. But it certainly acts like it doesn't.

I have scratches on my back fenders where a dog had hung over the bedrail and strached the paint. There is also a mark on my passenger door from a door ding that she was unable to correct. (Picture taken when truck was dirty, but you can see what it is).

It's really hard to tell in the picture. But your under panel right around where this spot is, should have a shit ton of clear coat on it. The clear coat gets noticeably thicker toward the bottom of the door and rocker panel. Like it starts to have dimples like as if someone just went to town on it and made it ultra thick (and honestly that's exactly what they did). It's there to protect the bottom from rocks and dirt, more so than the top. It's definitely shiny, so there's a clear coat for sure. But if it's not slick feeling and has more of a smudgy feeling then that is kinda strange. Hard to know what could be the issue though without being able to touch it and all that.

Oh yeah, I have that on my rocker panel. At first I wasn't sure what the hell it was, lol. This picture was taken when the truck was clean. That dull/dirt would not come off. I'll check tomorrow to see if the sealant she put on it took that dullness away.

My only guess is whoever leased it before I bought it, lived on a dirt road and never washed it. It's practically sand blasted.

Mud flaps & new flares are going on soon to try and reduce any further damage.

Ooooooh wow I see. I think you’re right. Also the flare is super faded. Dang that’s crazy looking and not normal. New flares definitely get the black ones. I have flaps to help fight dirt and snow/salt. Well worth it

I have new flares sitting in my hallway right now. Trying to get ahold of the local line-x company to get them lined before I install them.

Anybody running raw sliders. I’m considering it, and would love to see how it looks on our color.

Funny you should mention this. 8 was thinking about a raw steel bedrock. Just clear coat. Haven't decided yet. Thoughts anyone?
