Hey, I've searched underneath the truck and now through the forum and couldnt find anything. I'm having some electrical issues with my rear running lights and one brake light not working. I'm trying to find the connection in the harness that separates the rear half of the truck from the body/frame. I've traced it all the way to the port where it enters the cab near the drivers seat and cant imagine it wouldn't have a connection somewhere behind that. Anyone know of the plug locations?

The issue I'm having is all my rear running lights are not working. License plate, LH/RH tail running lights and the third running light up top. I cant seem to find the relay for these either. The fuses are good but I have no power to them so I'm figuring it's the relay.

Oh sorry. I'm usually really good at giving all the information. It's a 6 cyl. And there is no power to the fuses.

If brake light works but 3rd brake lights don't I would make sure you don't have power to 3rd rake light just to eliminate that . Could be bulb (LED?) And also check all your fuses . The fuse connect to different circuits .

Here are the wire routing drawings you need.

    Zoom in on this image:
You will see where the rear tailight assembly wires come together on the drivers side and enter the cab through a grommet into the cable tray under the plastic cover. From there it goes into the drivers kick panel. In there you should be able to locate the connection.

Glad I took a screenshot of the first one. Now I can use both. My high mount brake light doesn't work. I put a continuity tester light to where the wire connects to the main junction box near fuse box. It lights up as expected. Nice and bright. When I get the tester on the harness/female side of the connector at the light, I get a VERY dim light. Not enough voltage to light up incandescent or LED bulbs. No corrosion at or near the brake light. Guess there's corrosion/open/loose connection somewhere between the kick panel box and the roof. Time to start tracing the wire. This diagram will save lots of time.

    Thank you Jimmy!!
