I didn't expect to be driving this much lol. Last spring/summer I was working from home from March to August and only drove 400 miles. Now I drive 50 miles/day round trip to work and back, the rest must come from weekend wandering haha

lol, that’s a lot of wandering then. When I get back to “normal” at my job it’ll be 500 miles a week if I only go into the office 3 days a week.

I think I hit 5k here every 2 years lol. My round trip commute is 7 miles. Random 100-250 mile trip thrown in there.

Man, thats a hike of a commute! I want to start moving to bigger tires, but with this much driving, I don't want mpg to get worse than it already is haha

This morning to the office was the longest trip I’ve taken with the new wheels and tires, my dash told me I got about 17.1 mpg which is great considering I get 12-13 in and around town to chick fila and Dairy Queen lol.
Though my mileage was off about 5 miles due to the bigger tires, commute is usually 72 miles each way. Today it was 66 or 68 miles. That might impact the actual mpg.
I came from a Prius and have no intentions of letting the mpg get me down though I down want it to kill me either.

Mine is all stock, except for tires are 265/70/17 vs 265/65/17, and I only get 17ish. Last fillup was like 18. I don't usually obsess over mpg because I understand its a big ol toaster down the road, but may become a problem if I really am driving this much lol. I'll have to do some research on what stuff might be pooped up after 15 years of life that I could clean for potentially better mpg like throttle body, maf, etc

I should be able to go as little as 1 day a week depending on my schedule but I knew it was a risk. If gas does get too high I’ll figure out a schedule for the tires but I think I only really dropped 2-3 mpg... though I can’t really remember what I got last time I went into the office.

Did you visit A Plus or just call them? If you haven't been there yet, arrive early and ask them to show you all their vehicles. The one guy there has a 4Runner with 70 on the windshield. They all own slammed whips and all of them are tinted to the max.

Oh, and to add on to what John said about the hood film, they do wraps there too. I bet they would be glad to throw some matt black film on your hood for you. Hell, get a quote for the entire hood in matt carbon fiber. :headbang:

I was emailing then called. I checked them out on FB too. Looks like a lot of good stuff going on there. I liked the location better than auto salon on rt near mr tire.

So your saying you wanna swap hoods?? Your blue would look good with the non scooped midnight metallic black, or carbon fiber look :bananadance:
