What housing are you using? I brought my housing and had the snouts welded in at a shop for reasons above. I didn't tell them to add extra welds by drilling holes through the housing and using rosette welds. If you have a shop do it, it'll be better if they know what they're doing.

It would be way easier to get the housing trussed and cheaper from RS?

Depends if they still do it. A sweet set up if they would weld in the snouts. Doesn’t have many options if he’s doing the 10.5

if I were to do it again I would look into doing a full spidertrax axle or full camburg depending on link/leafs.

Weird they offer trusses on 9" - I'd at least ask. I'd also consider a 10" / 9" just because of all the things we mentioned. I like my F69 setup so far - it's basic parts and a little less expensive, but took more on my end sourcing a shop etc.

yea if he sticks to the 10.5 tundra i think thats the only place that makes them. Diamond might make a 10.5 housing but theres more options for 10/9s and they are stronger with better aftermarket support. Be intrested to see what he comes up with, a fabbed 10.5 would be sweet.

I saw on his IG a few days ago. That’s exciting! No suggestions on a proportioning valve though

I have one of the ones with the knob style valve:

    https://www.wilwood.com/mastercylinders/MasterCylinderValves

I put it next to the filler neck under the bed but I may relocate it to under the hood. You’ll need to reflare the hardlines with a 3/8 fitting like I did (had to do a bunch of hard lines in that size so I didn’t mind). They make another one with 10mm x 1mm that fits your stock line fittings.

Moving this to the BS thread before @FlapJack935 throws a fit again. :angrygirl:

Part of building a truck is having the debt to go along with it! lol

But yes, having debt but not all of the parts is super frustrating. Can't get your "smiles per miles" to make it worth the crippling debt that goes with it. :cookiemonster:
